ZJO Threadkillers!

I hope ya'll had a GREAT Saturday. I spent most of the day nursing a headache - one of those awful ones that won't go away. Anyway, enough whining!

TLM - your baby girl is SO adorable and thanks for sharing the pics. I'm headed to Disney soon and I'll definitely be posting - so post away!

TW - You've been hanging around today. How was your day? When do you start school? Did I tell you that I have a year of classes for the MAC that I purchased with the computer? Between that and the cake decorating classes, I'm having fun!

Kim - HIYA! Glad to see you posting! I know you're probably lurking out there, but we're always thinking of you!

Robin - I just KNOW you're having fun right now! We're thinking of you!

DU - sorry to hear about the water problem, but I know you're having a great time with Mackenzie this weekend. I hope James does well with his band competition. My nephews competition is in October.

PD - How is everyone feeling in the house? Did you get the bug the rest of the house got? I hope you and nsalz are healthy and well.

Cally - are you busy at work? How is Roger? We've not gotten an update recently. We're always thinking of him.

Well, ya'll take care and chat with you later!

Morning! We're all fine here, thanks for asking Ann. I never got the virus (so far).

TLM ~ Great pictures of your DD at DLP. She is just adorable!

How is your weekend with MacKenzie, DU. Is your water back on, or do you have to put pots and pans on the deck to catchall the rain water?

Hi Colleen....you sure have been busy lately.

Hope Robin is having fun!

Hi Cally and Kim!

NSalz and I went to our nephews confirmation party yesterday. SOmehow the rain the was predicted totally held off and though it was a coudy day it was dry. Kinda weird weather here though, it is oly in the 60s, but it is so humid that it is sticky and uncomfortable:confused3

Have a great day everyone!

That's weather in the south! Except it's usually in the mid 80's. I'm so used to the humidity that I'm uncomfortable in the dry weather.

I'm just goofing off today. Going to get gas, a fountain soda and then I'm headed to wander around Wal-Mart. Then it's football, baby!

I hope ya'll have a GREAT Sunday!

Honestly Ann, I don't think MACs get viruses...something to do with their operating system. :confused3 If I had one, I'd know more  ;) That's perfect that they'll teach you how to use it too. They are alot unlike a PC and that's where I think people tend to get discouraged cause they think it's too hard to use.

I still have one more school to visit. Hopefully tomorrow. Of my 3 choices, 1 starts in October, 1 starts in November and the 3rd starts in January. I won't know for sure til I visit the 3rd one which one I will get to go to. I am glad you are having fun with the cake decorating. Making roses is supposed to be *very* hard to do - you are def adding to Kitchen Gadget Girl's repertoire :)

It really did feel like Florida in October around here yesterday. John even turned the AC on just to get the muggies out of the house so he could sleep~I am headed out to the Disney Store today. We were supposed to go to the zoo but it's *too* rainy and crappy out - maybe next weekend.

I went over to the Laughing Place last night and bought autograph books, pens and lanyards for my friend's DDs. (The one I am helping plan their trip for next month.) I wanted to have them get the books at check in but am too worried the logistics won't work out. They are going straight to MK after they check in and I really wanted the girls to have the books for their first ADR at Crystal Palace~

Hi PD!

Good Morning my Threadkillers!

TW - the mac is surprisingly easy to use... it does so much automatically, that you don't have to sweat the small stuff! We also heard that it has something in it's operating system that takes care of viruses - thank goodness!

Have fun at the Disney store! Football is about to start!

I totally think they are easy to use!

We have football on but I'm really not interested~

Didn't buy anything at Disney today. I did hit the clearance racks at Target tho! I bought Penny puppy a hoodie for halloween! She needs a haircut again and tends to get cold when she has no hair in the fall.

DU, sorry to hear about your water problems.

But first we have to stop in at Rick's parents house because today is his dad's 80th birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICKS FADDA!:wizard:

After I went out and bought 5 gallons of water, wipeys, set up the Bathub...distributed pots to all the Bathrooms.....The water was shut off for all of 25 Mins! Once the dug up the street...it wasnt as bad as they thought!

Good news But I was OVER PREPARED!:lmao:

Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Verdict, Mr. & Mrs. Bridge, Road to Perdition..and of course 'Cars', were my favorites.

DU - I swear we watch a lot of the same movies. I've not seen as many of Paul's films as you have. I'm torn between Butch Cassidy and Road to Perdition. He was real slick in Road to Perdition...that would probably be my favorite performance, but I liked Butch & Sundance as movie better. Make sense?

Well, it's time for me to go to bed. I'm walking tomorrow, putting flowers on my mother's grave, mopping the floors and doing the bathrooms! If I have time, I need a 2nd mixing bowl for my mixer. Every time I break it out, I end up washing it up for the 2nd recipe or part of a recipe. I just cook WAY too much!

Ya'll take care and sleep well!

Ya'll just can't handle a little humidity....

I can't pick just one, there were too many. RIP Paul. Thanks for your many contributions. :goodvibes

Morning all......will have to come back later & catch up! Had a great meeting in Memphis last week and even had time to check out Graceland (no tour this time, but did go by & take a few photos)....next time going early & take the 'platinum' tour.....imagine that his estate & museums are amazing!!!

I think my favorite Paul Newman movie is Butch Cassidy....i think that may have been my first one too...his "Newman Organics" office is just up the road here about 10 miles in Aptos...it's really his daughter's venture, but Paul & his wife made appearances there a few times a year...couple of friends work there....sure it will be a very sad day in their office.....

hope you all had a great wkend....i sure did; Giants beat the Dodgers Friday night; Ryan's FB team had another shut out - 46-0 over Pebble Beach's "Robert Louis Stevenson" and i had a great Creative Memories event on Saturday & completed 18 pages of the Italy trip for the school's album...

WOW! 18 pages! That's amazing! Are you doing anything next Saturday for National Card Making Day?

My favorite Paul Neuman movie is probably The Sting, followed by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Hard to beat that Neuman Redford combo...they would have been good movies, even without sound!:cloud9: ) then the Verdict and Cool Hand Luke.

SOmehow I've never seen "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" I really want to see that one.

no card making for me next Sat...I'll be in Disneyland!!!!:woohoo:

I've not seen Cat on a Hot Tin Roof either; but that movie was all my clients talked about last Saturday...so guess i need to rent it!

Wow! This is a quiet thread today!

CADZ - make sure you see "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof"...it's a great movie!

I'm going to watch Monday Night Football (Go Pittsburgh!) and read - a real quiet night for us. I made some awesome steaks on the grill. Tom and I had some organic steaks - we decided to try them...what a HUGE difference in quality. We decided when it comes to steak, we'll definitely try to get organic. We were really surprised.

Well, ya'll have a great night and we'll chat later!

BTW - Welcome back LM83. I'm sorry you weren't feeling well, but I'm glad you had a good time at Disney Paris!
