Not all of those past 10 January's have been cruises, some have just been Florida vacations.

Why not Disney??

Because Rick is getting tired of Disney

I'm gonna have to start leaving him home and going myself.

Every time I even try to mention that though, he doesn't like it.

He's tired of Disney but he doesn't want me to get my fix either.

So not fair.

ohhh rats...was just thinking you might be a GREAT Disney partner for me!!! Since Dale won't go anymore, & now that Ryan is off to college next year.....

Received the Wii & Wii Fit yesterday, but got home so late last night no time to even open it...can't wait till tonite!!!

I'd like to go back to Disneyland.

I went once but for some strange reason I don't remember much about it.

It was very very veryyyyyy busy when we went and we only had one day.

So it was a bit disappointing that we didn't get to do much.

My kids would go with me. Would not even have to ask them twice

Geographics mean nothing to me...i would just meet you at WDW OR DL anytime (except summers/holidays - i refuse to go during summers & most holidays)..husbands get boring i guess.... at least ours when it comes to Disney.....

My DD(17) got her first college acceptance letter yesterday! I am giddy because it is accepance into my alma mater! It's her first college letter so it was a pretty exciting night at our house. They also let her know that she is eligible for several scholarships! ( She is much smarter than her Mom! ) I doubt this is her first choice of school, but it's a nice feeling of relief that she is in the door! (and I think we can actually afford this school as it is part of the SUNY system)

Yes, actually it's not really that much of a price difference to fly to Florida or California for me.

We don't usually do summer or holidays either. Although we have been there right after New Years and that's a nice quiet time to go to WDW.

Congratulations!!! That is SOOOO exciting! We have one so far, but probably his 3rd or 4th choice...so waiting for the rest to come...FINGERS CROSSED!!!!

CADZ & Robin - how cool that would be if you two could be travel buddies. Unfortunately, I'm still at the point where geography is a deal-breaker *sigh* maybe one day!

Well, I have to say - I made another good dinner tonight. It was vegetarian. I made a rice dish that had carrots, onions, garlic, greens & parmesan. It's an old favorite. However, I wanted to cool what was left, add some eggs and bake them in mini muffin pans to see how they would be as a vegetarian appetizer for my nephew's wedding reception (about 75% of her family is vegetarian). If it turns out half as good as I think it will - we're in!

Ya'll take care...I've got to finish that up!

They're done...I need to add another egg or two to the batch - it didn't "gel" as much as I'd like. I also need to chop the greens smaller.

However, they turned out pretty good - and taste terrific! The good news is I can make about 450 with 4 batches of this...which is a decent amount for 150 guests (along with all the other appetizers I'm making - believe me, it's a bunch!).

I'm going to see how they freeze and take them out in January, reheat and taste them again. With luck, I'll be able to make at least a month ahead. Wish me luck!

Yup.

And I also found out that Walmart is quite peaceful at 1am.

Ours is not usually open 24 hours, just for the month of December.

Except for the night staff that are restocking all of the shelves.
