Today, for the first time since 2/9, my head has not been spinning like a top. I have actualy been able to walk across a room and up and down stairs without losing my balance. Maybe this vertigo is finally letting go of me. I have to get a contrasting MRI tomorrow, dye injected, and hopefully a final followup with my doctor next week. It's been real rough finacially without my paycheck for the last 2-1/2 months. Having been out of work all of last year we did not have any cushion left. I'm really looking forward to getting back to work.

Good news is I'm getting over $2000.00 back from Uncle Sam. If I can get back to work soon I should be able to use it for Disney World in September.

Steph, hope you start feeling better soon.

If we make it to Disney World in September does anyone want to come to my DGS's 3rd birthday party on 9/15? I think we will be doing Hoop De Doo that night for him but havn't decided for sure yet.

Phil, so sorry your vertigo has not improved. That can be so awful. Glad at least you seem upbeat and planning a WDW trip. Always important to keep something happy on the horizon, I think.

I'm getting a great refund from our Canadian-pay-taxes-up-the whuzoo government. But dh says I can't spend it on WDW ....have to pay down the debit ( from going to WDW..hehe)

Hey MaMudduck, we got our income tax refund cheques quite awhile ago. I put them in the bank in a special account we are calling the "fun fund" We are going to try really hard not to touch the money and then we can use it for fun stuff like Disney
