Hiya Stepharonie....was getting worried that I really am the master at killing threads ;)

btw...I think your daughter is adorable. I have to smile every time I see one of your posts.

Little Miss Maddy sure does brighten up a thread with that smile, doesn't she.:D

She was anxiously awaiting her birthday cake in that picture :) She's such a sweet thing :)

Well, here I am staying up late killing threads when I should be sleeping!!

Thank you all for the "Welcome"s AND for the invitation--I'll have to mark it on my calendar.

BTW, will the thread still be visible after it dies of excessive length?? I'd love to read through it all. (I'm a little obsessive/compulsive. ) It's so much fun to see everyone's pictures & read the witty comments. ;) (Honestly, I don't understand how we keep killing threads when we have such fascinating information to share. )
Stepharoonie-- Your princess certainly is sweet, & I love your verse. If I weren't so busy killing threads, I'd try to figure out how to do really neat stuff with my signature. I'm impressed with the scrolling text, but I just can't take the time to figure out how to do it. I put off setting up my countdown for about a week, but then I couldn't stand not having one any longer!!

Yes. It will be locked from further posting but, it should be readable.

And, nice try, ms_flo, trying to kill this thread. ;)

:wave2:

:wave2: KimRaye,
I wasn't trying to kill it--honest I wasn't. It just keeps happening! I'm only trying to get to 150 on the big day...
Oh my, I guess I am trying to kill it! :guilty: Hhmmmm...

I'm glad I'll still be able to read it... at some time in the future. :D For now, I must get some sleep. Good night all.

And, Phil, where's our daily countdown? What are you working are something??

Sorry for faling down on the countdown. I have been fighting a case of Vertigo off and on since late January and it's been really bad for the last week. My doctor sent me to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist this past Monday. He thinks I have a viral infection to my inner and middle ear and put me on Meclizine. I have a follow up with him this coming Monday. It's going to be a very busy medical day. My DGS is scheduled for a Cardiac Catheterization[sp?] at 10AM, I have follow up with ENT guy at 1:15, and I have my yearly physical with my regular doctor at 4PM.

Oh Phil! I sure hope you're feeling better soon and, I hope all goes well with your appointments and, I truly hope everything goes smoothly for your DGS! Poor guy. Please keep us posted.

Hope all goes well for you tomorrow with all of your appointments, Phil:wave:

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. The hospital just called to confirm my DGS's procedure for tomorrow. He has to be there at 9:00, with the procedure scheduled for 10:00. We should know by 11 if they decide to do a angioplasty or wait until his next open chest heart procedure and just put him back on medication until then.
This is a good news, bad news situation. He has an artificial valve that keeps clogging because he is growing so well. He's on his second valve already. When he got the first one, when he was 6 days old, the doctors thought it would be good for about 3 years, but it had to be replaced when he was 13 months old. This one has been in for 17 months so far.
I'll post an update when we get back from the hospital tomorrow.

Major prayers for your DGS, Phil! and for all the others in your family.

Welcome all the newbie to this thread.....love all the new smileys.

Hey y'all! Remember me?

Phil, in all seriousness, your family is in my prayers.

Howdy, Mr.MouseFan, long time, no see! Welcome back!

Seriously, Phil, you, DGS and your family are in my prayers today. Hope everything turns out okay.

My dad had really bad vertigo for a year and every test kept coming back okay. It finally subsided on its own so they think it may have had something to do with allergies or a viral something. It was a really tough year for him during that time.

Hi, everyone else!
