Sorry for my delayed response, I think the crickets gave me indigestion. Next time I'll omit the onions and peppers on the kebobs.

Glad you enjoyed the party!
It was REALLY NO TROUBLE at all!
How did the painting go? When you mentioned you were going to paint DD's room, I felt guilty.
Our daughter's room needs painting so badly. We have to repair some damaged walls first, from a water leak. It's been that way for TOO long now.
Oh well, hopefully we'll get to it soon.
Meanwhile, we're having fun in the sun!

It was a massive effort, since we had to take down a wallpaper border first, but the room is finished and we are just waiting for it to dry enough to put the furniture back. We're going to try to finish the whole thing tonight. We had put it off for a long, long time. But, since it rained almost non-stop all weekend here, it was a good weekend to do it and we're glad it's behind us.
You will all be glad to know my 8 year old DD, given free reign, selected a Disney Color called "Fairest of Them All" which is a very light pink to match her pink Disney Princesses Bed Ensemble. It looks very cute and shows I'm not the only one in the family obsessed with Disney. She loved that her paint cans came with mouse ears stickers on them.

I give you all credit for originality, but, I still see no results. Are we pathetic, are what?
