Last day before we leave for WDW. We won't be back until 6/8 so I'm sure this thread will be gone by the time I check in again.

P.S. It has now been 6 1/2 days since my last smoke and I'm beginning to feel real good.

Well I missed being able to wish Montessori a great trip, but I still have time to wish you one, Phil. Congrats on the no-smoking. And, I'm sure all the walking and activity at WDW will help keep your mind off it.

Rainy Friday morning to everyone else. Sure doesn't feel like the start of a Memorial Day weekend to me. I just had to put my lining back in my raincoat, it's so cold. Going to the beach tomorrow where they say it will continue to rain - Depressing!

Well, I'm still SO jealous of your trip, Phil. I certainly hope you have better weather than what we're supposed to have. Take lots of notes to report back to us and we will do our best to keep this pitiful thread alive until your return.

I am sooooo jealous of Phil...LOL...not cuz of the smoking thing (awesome as it is)...but because he gets to have Mickey shaped rice crispy treats..LOL.

So, heres a question: Do you like your Mickey treats with or without chocolate? With or without sprinkles? I like mine with chocolate and no sprinkles.

Let's see...the Cubs are coming home after a 2 week road trip with a record of 8-5 and, still in 1st PLACE!!! 2-1/2 games ahead, thank you very much (please don't bust my bubble, ok?)

My DD is on punishment and, trust me, it's more a punishment for ME, having to listen to her whine!

Weather was nice today and, same predicted for Monday. So, the doors & windows have been open and, they will be again tomorrow I imagine.

I was hootin' & hollering Sun for the Cubs final road game and, I imagine & hope I'll be doing the same on Monday when they return home!

I will FINALLY get to see my 1st home game for this year at Wrigley Field on Sunday, 6/1. I have tics to 4 other games besides that!

So, bring on the food and BarBQ for the holiday.....I'm ready!!

I heard the hot dogs at the ball field are out of this world...is that true, Kim?

Kevin, you're kidding right?! Those are the awfulest things I've ever tasted!! Now, I pay extra for the kosher hot dogs and, IF they were HOT maybe it would be nice but, they rarely are. Last year, I had ONE hot dog (in over 30 years of going to games) that was so hot it burnt my mouth and, steam came outta my mouth (in summer), it was the ball park brand but, trust me, it was still nasty!

I think anyone that thinks those hot dogs are GOOD have been tipping a few Old Styles or Budweisers before they eat! jmho
