I had a very nice weekend even tho my Flyers are well...you know...LOSING!!!!

John and I had dinner out on saturday, no movie - we hung home instead~

Today I was taking very good care of.

Story of me life. My neice & her DH had to work this weekend This is my last w/e off for awhile. James is here anyway every weekend, so we had Makenzie too.

But it is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeexhausting. The only thing sis helped with was given Mak a bath this am (cause she was taking her to church). But she dont change a diaper, feed her, dress her....nutin. :confused3

Weird I know.
Then I have to look all over the house cause the wipes are left in one place, the diapers in another.... :confused:

Morning~

We had a tornado here early Sunday morning :scared:

Actually it was in Macon, about 30 miles north. I work in Macon.

The streets are a mess and lots of homes destroyed. :guilty:

Tornado's scare me.

Thanks for checking in. I was watching the news last night and saw about those tornadoes! I knew you were in Georgia, but wasn't sure where you were in relation to the storms, so I was worrying about you! So glad you're ok! I can't believe the devastation of the storms this weekend. That would scare me to death!

Tornadoes are scary things.

We had a small twister or tornado go right thru our neighbourhood when my kids were small.

It did minor damage, tore out trees, bricks off of houses across the street that sort of stuff.

Did your workplace suffer any damage.

As for good restraunts, I have always loved the Marrakesh in Epcot...I really love the food there!
You and James would probably love the belly dancer...I know Mike doesnt mind having to watch her...LOL..
My DGDs (the twins)best memory is dancing with her...and one of the CMs there, bringing them rose water to rinse their hands with... princess:

They felt pretty special!

DU - I hope you enjoy your day. The sister's love the California Grille. LeCellier is a good steakhouse and I'm dying to try Victoria & Alberts (not this trip *sigh*) Let me know where you have reservations at. WDWinfo.com posts all the menus...their restaurant page is pretty informative.

Cally - I'm glad you're okay. The storms one county north of us and we just got breezy weather (or as DU would say - we got nuttin!) When DH and I left California, everyone give us a hard time for moving to a hurricane state - but at least you get ample warning!

DalPal - I hope you're recovering well. I had a relaxing mother's day....watched movies and went out for b'fast, lunch & dinner! I have a small mountain of laundry today!

Hi TW & Robin! I hope ya'll are having nice days.

PD - it was a sad time when my DSS was killed. It's been 2.5 years now - seems weird - you always expect it to happen to someone else. No clues, no suspects - which really sucks for my parents. Anyway, we've had sunnier days since and appreciate what we have now.

Well, I've got to get to that mountain of laundry!

Ann ~ Don't give up hope on this being solved. This weekend, the police finally solved a 12 year old crime here. It involved a missing 15 year old boy. Turns out he was beaten to death by his "friend(s)". This is kind of what everyone suspected as he ran with a very bad crowd, but it took a long time for this to be solved. Totally tragic, but at least his family will have some closure now.

DU, just so you know...the Turf Club says bar & grill I think....it is soooooo much better than that! I'd compare their steak to Le Cellier in a heartbeat!

The garlic mash, the steak, the seafood...all totally Fab!

havent decided yet. I learned to ONLY make adrs for my MUST haves. Otherwise for just me & James...its pretty easy to just walk up & get a table. Only been turned down once.

I agree with the walking up.

We do that all the time and have never really had to wait for very long and never been turned away either.
