Robin - what's this about a kitten? Do you have a picture? I LOVE kitty's!

Hope everyone elses "5:15 - what should we eat...." is just as yummy! :rotfl2:

:scratchin ....... hmmmm, pictures of the kitten:confused3

I wonder if I have any :rotfl:

Sure I'd be happy to post some more pictures of her for you guys. We've had her 5 weeks tomorrow:goodvibes

We had dinner out tonight with friends who are going to be away for a few weeks.

the website your ticker is from might be having their own issues. it's a different site than your other one.

sometimes that happens with those tickers.

Might have to remove it and do it again later.

I do like those ones because they count down the days :woohoo:

Here is one of Duster taken a few weeks ago, sound asleep. She has two speeds, full speed ahead or crashed out:lmao:

This is Duster sitting outside on the back deck. Her cute little tongue is hanging out:goodvibes She does not go outside often and so far always on a leash or rope of some sort. She is much too little to be out and about by herself.

IMG_3273.jpg

Here she is being "sassy" with Mischief. She is a little scrapper and won't leave Mischief alone, even when Mischief hisses and growls at her.

IMG_3278.jpg

As I said we always take her out on a leash. Well one time Mischief decided that she would be the kitten sitter for us:thumbsup2 It was very cute:

Here is Duster trying to catch the bubbles in the pond. She didn't quite understand that she could not step out on to the water:laughing:

Morning everyone.
My daughter is recovering nicely from her knee surgery. She had a follow up appointment with the orthopedist on Monday, got fitted for a brace yesterday and today she start Physical therapy. They say PT will probably be at least 2 months and then maybe they will be able to let her take off the brace to try to walk and do some light running without it! I'm gonna be broke...co-pay twice a week for at least 2 months!:scared:

She better be running in the Olympics someday!:goodvibes

Got lots of work to do... so see ya!

Last night I told my girls that I have been doing sooo much running around for them lately that they should feel free to have Mike bring them shopping for Mother's day every night. I said they can each get mne present a day, until mother's day!:thumbsup2

My 12 year old who has a very quick wit, immediately replied, "ok we'll go to the dollar store to get you something each and every day!":rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

:rotfl2: Sounds like something one of mine would say too.

That's okay though because there is actually some nice stuff that you can get at the dollar store if you look around:thumbsup2

DU, sorry the cats made you sneeze:confused3

Hey Cally. It's not Friday yet but it is the last day of April already :faint:

Hi Threadkillers!

Robin - that kitten is SO cute! What a rascal!

PD - I'm glad your daughter is recovering nicely and I hope you enjoy your dollar store gifts!

Hiya Cally - it's not Friday, but DH is wishing it was...he's had a grumpy work week.

DU - I hope you're off work now and resting well....and the rest of your week is smooth. Sorry to hear you're alergic to cats - what about dogs?

TW - Pasta sounds good! That's what we're having tonight - a spinach & chicken pasta bake. It's a new recipe, so I'm excited about it.

Hi DalPal and everyone else!

Morning friends....after stepping outside my cruise & tk'er threads for a look around the CB last night....i'm even more blessed to have all of you~ YIKES - it's scary out there....

PD - SOOOOO glad your DD's knee surgery went well....after two ACL surgeries - i KNOW EXACTLY what she's goin thru~
now for that MD's gift....here's my idea that i'm quite willing to share...i bought 'a' silver bracelet which came gift wrapped...gave it to DH & said 'here - this can save you some time shopping' you can just give it to Ryan for my MD's gift....DH HATES to shop...so this makes so much more sense!!!!:rotfl:

Cally - it's Wednesday girlfriend...1/2 way there!!!

Robin...your baby is a cutie

Hi Ann, DU, Tig, DP & all you other lurkers!

Hi CADZ! I like the way you think. DH is pretty good at gift shopping, but we decided long ago that Christmas is about the only time we do presents. We pretty much get what we want most of the year and on Valentines, Mothers/Fathers Day, Anniversary, etc..we stick with hugs and kisses. It works for me...

PD - I'm embarrassed to give you the recipe because it's SO easy - but here goes:

Chicken 'n' Spinach Pasta Bake

8 oz uncooked rigatoni
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 c finely chopped onion (about a medium onion)
1 (10oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed
3 cups cubed cooked chicken (I grilled extra chicken breasts the other day and I'm using that)
1 (14.5oz) can Italian-style diced tomatoes
1 (8oz) container chive-and-onion cream cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups (6oz) shredded mozzarella cheese

1. Prepare rigatoni according to package direction
2. Meanwhile, spread oil on bottom of an 11x7 inch baking dish, add onion in a single layer
3. Bake at 375º for 15 minutes or just until tender. Transfer onion to a large bowl, set aside.
4. Drain chopped spinach well, pressing between layers of papertowels (believe me - you DON'T want to skip this step - voice of experience here!)
5. Stir rigatoni, spinach, chicken and next 4 ingredients into onion in bowl. Spoon mixture into baking dish and sprinkle evenly with shredded mozzarella cheese.
6. Bake, covered at 375º for 30 minutes; uncover and bake 15 more minutes or until bubbly.

Serves 4 to 6. Note: You can substitute sausage instead of chicken. Use 3 cups cooked, crumbled Italian Sausage and cut salt & pepper measurements in half.

If anyone makes it besides me, let me know what you think!

ETA: corrected typos (I HATE that!) if there are more...sorry!

Thanks Ann! THat looks delicious. Don't be embarrassed that it is so easy, if it weren't easy, I wouldn't make it! I'm going to try it with chicken and then another night I'll use the sausage!:thumbsup2

It's usually the easy ones that are the best...I hope it's good - we'll find out tonight!

I dunno what I'm doing for dinner :confused3

I'd be over if we were closer Ann ::yes::

I have class at 630 and John is going to a Phillies game after work :(

I hear you about that copay PD...we had to do it 3 times a week for almost six weeks :faint: Thank goodness we'll most likely get all that back.....in about FOUR YEARS!

The wheels of Justice spin s-l-o-w-l-y!

I'm hoping we get it all back too. The school district gve us forms to fill out because the injury occured during track practice. They are supposed to cover anything that issn;t covered by our insurance.

I just went to a new coffee bistro about a block from my office (tres dangerous!) to get a latte. I had one yesterday and it was the best latte I've ever had. (and I have had a lot of lattes!) I get out my $$$ to pay and they say nope it's our grand opeing celebration today so it is free!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I am in heaven!

:wave2: Hi everyone -

I'm afraid I am not doing a very good job keeping up to date with everyone. About the only thing I manage to DIS each week is my NASCAR picks for Brer Papa's thread.

DU - I see cake in your signature! I would find a different way to work if I were you too many accidents you see - I am glad your friend is ok.

I logged in just in time to see adorable kitten pictures... I know all about those two speeds Sully has the same ones. I am so worried about leaving him alone next week (he'll have the other two cats of course).

Busy trying to get ahead at work so I can leave with a clear conscious Saturday morning. My nieces are beyond excited for their first Disney World trip.

Grade came back for first MBA course... A (did I tell you guys that already??????) Second course, Economics is going to kill me... well something is 60 hours working, 20 hours studying... <sigh>

I hope everyone is having a good week. You are in my thoughts even though I don't get to type often these days. I'll take some Flower and Garden pics at Epcot for everyone.

Take care.

James is a smart boy, a smart man taught him to be that way ;)

Congrats PD! I don't do lattes, straight coffee for me please~

Hi Michelle! It seems quite a few TKers are on their way to the world...enjoy your trips people!!! It's sad for me to not be able to go but a nice trade off being able to be a SAHM~
