Where is everybody today?

Sorry - I was in Disney for the day! My sister and I met at MGM - er Disney Hollywood Studios for the day and had lunch at the Brown Derby (my fav at that park).

Had a great time - didn't take the camera, so I have no pics. I hope ya'll are having a great day. A bit-o rain today, but it's supposed to be in the low 70's. Tomorrow we're hitting the 60's for the rest of the week. What's up with that?

Turning on the A/C and leaving a pair of socks in plain view didn't work either...all that did was make my ripple ring cold.....

Ripple Ring! I remember how funny that story was! OMG - with the old thread gone we've lost that story...the newbies have missed a true part of Threadkiller Heritage.

That was/is a hilarious story.

I sent an email to the DIS higheruppers asking how to find the rest of our thread because it is supposed to be there but I never got any replies.

DU, do you have any idea how we can find where they put the rest of the threadkiller thread??

I'd be at the beach too if I could.

Well I suppose technically that I could go to the beach but it probably wouldn't be a very pleasant way to spend the day here today.

VERY MUCH SO! My version of Heaven (go with me on this...its all I got left in life) is

1) WDW, 72 degrees, no lines, FREE DINING...and the Monorail goes to the POP CENTURY!
2) Carmel California on ANY given day I have been there....OH YEAH Free Dining there too!

Howdy Threadkillers!

Well, Dad is back on the mend. He is out of the hospital and back in the nursing home. We anticipate that he'll go home by week's end.

He's already talking about summering in Michigan and golfing. He hopes to be able to drive to Michigan by the first of June. We'll see. It IS nice to see he has some goals again. He was pretty listless for a while.

Near as we can tell he had some sort of bug and it ran it's course. He was pretty sick for a while and we weren't sure he was going to escape so easily.

Today is Monday and I've not even started mopping the floors! I've been at the hospital/nursing home most of the day - so I've got to scoot!

What a relief! Quite the turn around, thank goodness. My Mom was in the hospital a couple of years ago and we all thought it was the end. Turned out they just had to straighten out all of her medications and then she was as good as new! Scared the carp out of us for quite awhile. So happy to hear the good news!
