We did alot today...doctor's - john has physical therapy for the next four weeks~ Chemistry class, I got an 80 on my first test. I can live with a B. and we went to a lawyer, he says we have a good case and will work on contigency (payment contingent on our winning) and it could take a couple years. It sounds like the wait will be worthy~the lawyer wants to watch John's progression to determine how bad this injury is gonna be for his future and get compensation to match.

John and I exchanged cards today...he Loves me

When I do ALT, it goes to my file tab, and if I push it again it will go back to where the curser was originally...
but it wont make the degrees that way....Maybe its just the way this PC is set up. ...

Happy Thursday! - a little to anyone who needs some today. Bright and sunny in my little corner today with the temperature hopefully climbing towards the 50 degree mark. My sister called and said "the little people (this is how we refer to the children as a group in my family) decorated some heart cookies for you and they want to know when they can bring them over.
In the news today: clothes that generate electricity when you move. Ok, so you throw one of these shirts on and go out for a run, working up a good sweat (not that I am familiar with such, but I understand it happens). Won't this violate the whole don't get electric things near water??
Also in the news: Brides are making their Bridesmaids sign agreements saying the will not gain weight OR get pregnant before the wedding. Huh?

Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

That's some strange news.

How dare a bride make her bridesmaids sign an agreement like that.

I personally was awoken by the ringing telephone this morning (9:30 am ).

It was a flower store wanting to deliver flowers not to me but to Liz Aw how sweet!!

Oh well, I had the alarm set to go off about 15 minutes later anyways.

I bought my own flowers yesterday

I'm wondering if I can get away with "smuggling" a rose across the border when I leave on Saturday Technically you are not supposed to bring plants but a cut rose is not a plant... not really. Just put it in your hair.

Besides that van will be so packed with stuff, maybe the border guard won't notice the rose

Cally I need to keep away from too much food. I'll have to try to keep it under control while I'm away.Maybe you'll be able to get a hold of a lot of tropical fruits

Interesting what brides think they can get away with these days. Not allowing their bridesmaids to do stuff.... especially since some people are engaged for a year or more before they get married.What is this world coming to!!

The sun is shining. It is a beautiful looking day out today.It was pretty today here too but still kind of chilly

I had a few tiny tears this morning.

In the mailbox was a large envelope. Inside the envelope was a card and a frame with Subway's name, his paw print and a nice "lock" of his hair. The card was signed by the people in the vets office.

What a nice surprise. Aw that was nice of the Vet. They did that for us too when my dog died when I was a teenager. We didn't get a lock of hair though.

But I still have a ton of Subway hair in different places on my carpet that have not been vacuumed up yet He was really good at pulling it out and leaving me little piles wherever he had been sleeping ha ha that's funny

shhhhh, don't tell the DIS vacuum police

That was nice of the Vet's Office to send you one last hug from Subway.

Children? No. I am sort of the sterotypical "old maid" - almost 40, single (never married), a couple of cats.
However, my two younger sisters are married with eight chilren between them (good Catholic upbringing ). Seven nieces and one nephew with the oldest at eleven and the youngest just one year. For the record they are; Adriana (11 - Sis1), Michelle Catherine (10 - Sis2), Caitlin (8 - Sis2), Corin (8 - Sis1), Jillian (6 - Sis1), Nicholas (6 - Sis2), Mackenzie (3 - Sis2), and Sheridan (1 - Sis2). Fortunately my sisters had enough foresight to give birth to them all between the 1st of January and the 30th of March!

We love cats around here!! Oh we like kids too

I have two boys... 10 and 7 and a 1 yr old neice (hubby's side) and 9 yr old neice, 2 yr old nephew and 1 yr old niece (my side)

That is a nice photo of Subway on the bench!!!! He really looked great - healthy - in that photo too!
soooo...did everyone have a nice VDay? DH did bring me some flowers & a card - i made him dinner & gave him some chinese candy - we have a gal here who goes to chinatown quite often so she always picks some up for me - for really for Dale....
We may go to dinner tonite...or at least he said we could - he thought he'd be feeling much better...but i'm thinking maybe - maybe not...we'll see. We watched Tues & Wed's American Idols....i was really sad to see Josiah not make it to the finals...but really glad to see that cute little 16 y/o from Utah make it....he is an absolute doll!
