Just out of curiousity, at your Wal-Mart do the registers have their bags on this spinning thing? And as they ring you up the put them in the bags and then spin it to get to the next bag?

They recently...well not that recent but within the last 3yrs added these bag holders which I think works great and really cuts down on bagging time.

What in the world am I talking about.... why are we talking about grocery bags?

I've had that happen


How about when they fill the darn thing up and it busts right when you're about to load it in the car

Oh and I hate how they put raw meat with the bananas or something else fresh

However if the cashier is left handed...They go the wrong way in their spin,(towards them & not me the 'paying consumer ) and I have to wait for 3 bags to get filled before I can grab one of the hook, and place in the wagon. Otherwise I have to finagle my way around the spinning thing...go into past the invisable restricted line...and TRUST ME...Cashiers DONT LIKE THAT!

They are when the cashier dont "do it the right way'. However only one chain of Stores have them. From reading the Dis Boards I learned that in North east USA it is very common for people to bag their own groceries. Down south it is a BIG NO NO! Cashiers do the bagging!
From what I heard, since you live under the Equator, yours will spin clockwise, instead of counterclockwise up here!

WELL...
all I can say is.........PAPER! ...

Yup...If I get a choice...I want paper....
Paper can stand up by themselves...and they keep there shape....and doubled they are really strong....
and then when you dont want them anymore you can just burn them...

BUT ...If you want to get cashiers P O'd at you ask for PAPER, AND double PLEASE! ...and THANK YOU!
More work for them....

I really hate those spinning things, AND when they put only one or two things in a bag....OOOoorrrrrrr when they give you said one or two things is a bag thats the size of a little sandwhich bag! ....

Yes, the second two are from here,but I'm not sure about the big deal thing. Another Aussie also got a tag that was related to a comment I made about a Jay and Silent Bob tea party that I made today too.
The one about the voice of Shrek refers to a talking Donkey touy I have that has Shrek's voice in it(possessed, I say!)
The one about "you did not just see that happen" I told a story I'd heard about some kid disarming Darth Vadar, and the Jedi master did the mind trick motion towards the crowd and said "You did not just see that happen"and the Tag Fairy must have liked it!

They don't give us a choice at Wal-Mart or Target but I have noticed that they are selling those reusable shopping bags near the register. They only cost a $1. BUT they are SOOOO small. You can't fit anything in them. I would have to buy $100 of them!

Hey I like pockets I hate when I'm out and realize I have no pockets! Then I have to put my keys in my purse. And when I need my keys I have to search for them which takes forever So I love when I have pockets.. just stick my hand in it and WHA-La... there are my keys.
