My friend Jimmy is helping....we decided to rebuild the engine....

Saturday I will be cruising down the avenue.....Jimmy had a load of cars to take to Florida....so...waiting for his return Friday....

Did you guys know the POC is shut down? when it reopens....some changes will be seen.... ( Sorry DalPal our GalPal p'rincess: .... I don't know if youre mangy mutt will be holding the keys ) ....but...some POC and Cap'n Jack attractions will be added from what I hear....

This Sunday....on Travel Channnel I think...at 10 PM...a show about the making of Everest will be aired....I'm taping it for the GK's.....

I owe some PM's....I'll get to them soon....

Well...gotta go make my NASCAR picks....

Woohoo I finally found my way back here after uh how long has it been? Hope to not wonder off again for too long as its too hard to keep up here if gone for more than a day . Hope everyone is doing well... now off to find my last post and get caught up. Uh oh this could take awhile.

I watched Memiors of a Geisha finally lastnight. It wasn't half as good as the book and left out a lot of parts!! LOL but I love all the kimonos and the cherry blossoms were beautiful.

What have you been up to? How's lil bit? I like the crib you picked out. Where are you getting it from?

Oh if you want some breakfast you better hurry on over while hubby is off from work... once he goes back to work there will be no big breakfast or should I say brunch...

I heard about the POC ride. I think alot of us will be upset if they take the keys away from the mutt... I don't think that would happen though...they did have that part in the movie.... well I hope it won't happen..

I drive hubby nuts on vacations cause it always seems where we visit has it & that's where I keep the tv all week

Our comcast cable doesn't offer it and hubby won't do satellite, I've tried.

I missed alot these last two days...

Yeah...Brittany reminded me when she came home that POTC was closed, the giftshop is still open tho...she bought herself a new pirate's tshirt on her trip.

She had an awesome time, was totally exhausted when she got back.

Alex is headed off to Ottawa (long drive again ) He has another test tomorrow towards getting a paramedic job there. I hope he does well and I hope he doesn't do well Actually I DO hope he does well but I hate the thoughts of him moving 8 hours from home. I'll be fine once he's gone but I'd sure rather he stayed closer to home.

Tomorrow is my parents 50th anniversary. We don't have any real big plans because they didn't want any. We are going as a family out to dinner. There will be a few of us missing though like Alex since he will be in Ottawa, one other grandson is not coming and maybe another grandson that I'm not sure of yet. We'll enjoy it anyways I'm sure.

Okay, I have a question for you guys

I have a niece who is going to school to become a hairstylist. Now this is a girl who is covered with piercings,has several new tattoos, used to sport a mohawk but now it's some other strange style, her hair is some combination of pink/black and who the heck know what else

Her dad (my brother) calls me yesterday and says.......... Jillian wants you to come and get your hair done by her

On Wednesdays apparently they practice their cutting, styling, colouring etc at school. She would like people she knows to come in and get their hair done. My brother went and had his done yesterday, cut and colour for ten bucks

I would have to drive to her school which is of course an hour away for the honour of this hair make over too.

What do you think......... should I risk it and go. Because afterall it is just hair and it will grow back/out eventually Maybe I should wait until tomorrow and see what my brothers hair looks like

What would you do.

Cally, some hospitals will help or pay your student expenses after you go to work for them. Even if you finish school, and then go to work for them, they may pay for your student loans.....

Brer Papa - Rebuilding an engine is always fun lol Heard about POC being shut down and it wont be open for our trip in May It was one of the few rides I was gonna beable to ride.I can't believe they are thinking about taking the keys away from the dog! Thanks for reminding me of the Everest tv show coming on I've been trying to tape all the WDW shows that I can. Yes, I'm that addicted. lol shazzbott I've got a new word for the day. Lil bit is doing good, we had a small scare but all is well. I will be seeing the perinatologist on Thursday for my first appointment to really check up on baby so we will see how that goes. Actually we wont be going with a white crib we are thinking about a cherry crib. I will attach the picture of the crib I want. How long is hubby off of work?? Must be nice having him around to do some cooking and it sounds like when he cooks he cooks big!

Actually I cleaned out the car while hubby taught DeVaughn how to ride his bike without his training wheels.

It was so cute watching him ride. He still has problems stopping but he can balance himself

Now, that's sweet! Tell him congrats, that is a big deal!
