Good morning.

Kim ~~ Liz really liked that Mickey Bag too and wanted to colour it (not really keep it to use though). I told her that I thought Kelly would appreciate it more than Liz needed it ;)

I'm sure that the kitchen cabinets will turn out great. When I get a final floor plan I will see if Liz can scan it in for me to post for you guys. I don't know how to use the scanner. If not then I will be sure to post regular updates of work in progress. :teeth:

Hope you are feeling better today Ann, although you have a funeral to go to today don't you? That will definitely not help to make you feel better :sad2:

 Colleen, Betsy... Have a good day everyone.

Betsy, I was thinking about our proposed daily walks onboard the Disney Wonder today :cool1: Looking forward to it. :smooth:

Absolutely, positively, be very glad to have you and anyone else who wants to walk, join us. :thumbsup2

Yes Betsy, the walking "track" is on deck four. You can walk totally around the ship. You could also do this on deck 10 is we wanted to. It's outside more than deck four but it is also busier, more populated so you'd have to be constantly walking around people.

Betsy, if you have any questions on where things are and how to get to them on the ship, just ask. I think there are not too many places that I have not been on that ship. Be glad to help if you need it. :teeth:

One hint. The mid ship elevators tend to be busier than the front or back elevators for some reason :confused3

I like to have an idea of the layout of a ship before I get on it too. It just makes it much easier to get your bearings once you are onboard and you don't spend all of your time wondering where in the heck you are :confused3

Hey U ~~ keep up the school work :teacher: Are you studying anything interesting right now? What is your favourite subject?

Awesome!

I took sooo many walks around the ship and was still finding new things the last day :boat:

Our cabin was aft so not too much traffic in the "lifts" there. I like the location we had, close to the elevators and laundry room but far enough away for it not to be a problem. Most of my time was spent on deck 3 and 10. The lounge, beat street and two of the three restaurants are on 3. The adult pool, the sports deck and quick food were all on 9/10.

Only one restaurant is on 4, Animators. Shutters, Walt Disney Theatre and the gift shops are also on 4.

The movie theatre and kids club are on 5. (I think :confused3 )

Cally congratulations on the new rings. They sound beautiful. You will have to post a picture of it for us to see when you get it ::yes::

Rick and I just passed our 31st year anniversary of when we starting dating :scared1: I always wanted an anniversary band but he didn't see the sense or need to having one  So I went out last October and bought myself a really nice band with diamonds for an "anniversary" present to myself :smooth: I don't even know if he has noticed that I have it or not, he has never commented on it. :sad2: I love it though :smooth:

Colleen, very good description of where things are on the ship. You are right the movie theater and the kids clubs are on Deck 5. Did you go into the kids clubs, just to check them out? We have on several trips, we even looked at the baby nursery (Flounders). Heck, I wanted to see what they were like, so why not go and have a peek.

Congratulations on 31 yrs! Roger and I started dating in high school.. I was 16 and he was 19 (yep he was still in h.s.) :teeth: and yep parents didnt approve of him at first. We kind of had a separation for 3yrs when he left Japan and moved to Georgia. We did our "own thing" in those 3yrs (but we kept in contact via phone and letters) and ended up right back together again when I moved to Alaska and married a year later. :p

Those bands with diamonds are very nice. We looked at a few of those. Hey as long as you like it that's all that matters, right?

Is that a 'yes' Cally, like Ann? ;)

I'm jealous of all these rings. :guilty: I'm happy for you tho, too! :goodvibes My wedding band is lost, probably gone. When I gained all that weight, I couldn't wear it anymore, for fear it wouldn't come off, so I took it off, left it behind the sink, and a couple years later when it would've fit, it was gone. :sad2: So, when I mentioned to dh that I wanted a new band for our last anniversary, and I got flowers, I was also very disappointed. He never heard me. :listen: Might explain why he lives elsewhere now. :lmao:

Ann, I hope and pray you're feeling better. How'd the doc go? :confused3

Sorry for cheating Colleen! :teeth: Thanks for yet another book! :woohoo:

Betsy, segway? As in those upright motorized thingies? :confused3 Where do you go? :confused3

 for now

Cally Rick and I started to date when he was 15 and I was 18. I don't think his parents were very happy about it either ;) I think they are still not very happy about it after 31 years :lmao: :thumbsup2

Evening Kim. :)

Just found out that there is a strike at the college that my kids both go to, actually every college in the whole province is on strike as of midnight tonight. No school for awhile :sad2: Hopefully it doesn't drag on and threaten the outcome of the school year, especially for those graduating this year like Alex.

The good thing about it is that I don't have to get up and drive Liz to school for 8 am :p

Cally, a picture of the ring that I bought. I really like it alot.

I wear it on my right hand but I had it on my left in this picture because I couldn't make the camera work using my left hand ;)

Good Morning Everyone!

Doctor's appt. went okay. I got two kinds of medicine and the pharmacy wouldn't give me one because it reacts to my daily medication - so I have to wait til the doctor's office opens to see what I get...

Nice bling Robin! Can't wait to see yours, Cally! I, too, have an anniversary band. It sounds much like yours, Cally. I wear it between my wedding and engagement rings. I guess I'll have to take a picture! I received mine when Tom and I married in the church 13 years after our civil ceremony. I like it!

Well, I'm running off to work. Hope ya'll have a great day! Ann

This is gorgeous! :thumbsup2
I told DH a couple of years ago that for our 10th anniversary, I wanted another diamond band. He said "you don't wear much jewelry.". I told him that was because I didn't have much!!! We've only been married for 5 1/2 years. We have each been married before, and each brought one child into the relationship and have one together. I'll have to remind him again about the band in a year or two. I'll probably buy mine too....he gave me a loose diamond that belonged to his great grandmother 3 yrs after we got married and I went with my M-I-L to have it put in a band. It was difficult to find a setting for it because of the way it is cut. (ole' miners cut... :smooth: or something like that) Anyway, love your ring, lools like somthing I would pick out!

I will go back and re-read what I just read, but because my 'idea' is currently copied and contained in my mouse's right-click button, I must post that first. :rotfl:

Here's my idea............I was thinking of starting a continuous, year-round Holiday/Seasonal themed package-forward. Like before, I'd start by sending to someone and they'd send.........on and on but, based upon whatever upcoming holiday is, the contents would always change, and the receiver would keep everything and send the next holiday/seasonal themed items to the next person. Make sense? I'd send Easter items to the first person (Robin, I guess, since she already signed up :rotfl2: ), Robin would send, say Mother's Day or Father's Day, if appropriate, or spring or summer, or 4th of July, and the next receiver would send Fall, Halloween, whatever. On and on. What do you think? I am of course ASKING first who wants to join, as this would cover a LONG time frame, obviously.

A "pay-it-forward Holiday/Seasonal exchange"? :confused3

If we had enough people that wanted to do this, we could actually get the list of holidays/seasons done in advance, and everyone would know who and what they're buying for well in advance. The only tight spot I see possibly being a problem would be Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas, one in each month.

Well, let me know what you think. Sign up if you want. The list will go in order of sign-ups, for now, unless I think of something better, or someone suggests something better. ;) Also, if you celebrate a particular holiday that I would not be thinking of, like Hanukkah, etc., please let me know to add that to the list incase your 'time' comes up for receiving around then. ;)

Based only on MY thoughts right now:
Starting now: Easter/Spring
Next: Mother's/Father's Day/Summer
Then: 4th of July maybe (what else is in July/Aug?)
Then: Fall/Labor Day
Then: Halloween,
Thanksgiving,
and Christmas,
followed with maybe New Year's (kinda close to Christmas tho)
Valentine's Day
St. Patrick's Day and back to Easter. Subject to changes/ideas/additions by all you creative TKs!

Really rough ideas at this point. Input Most Appreciated! :grouphug:

Back to replying now................. :wave2:

I would love to do this if there is still room. I love any excuse to shop!!!! :cheer2: Once the list is comprised, would it be possible to get a bit of background of the person we are to send to? Still a bit new to this thread and still ahve to check some sigs to keep people straight. I think this is a great idea. It would be neat to include a note or continuous journal. Each new person would add something....just a line or two, something clever or personal inspriration or something then in would eventually end up back to the origianal sender. Maybe you do this already? Just a thought.
