:goodvibes Hi everyone!!! :wave2: What a crazy week it has been. 3 days ago we were lucky it got up to 12 degrees and today it think it got to about 38. :thumbsup2 I actually went out without a jacket that made it impossible to put my arms down to my side. :rotfl:

My son had a dr appt thursday. He goes to the hospital every 4-6 months and gets to see 6 different specialists in one day. As long as things look good we don't see them again until the next time, if not, we have testing and other follow up visits in their offices. Instead of getting billed for each seperately, it's billed out as one appt with a co-pay. He had a back x-ray for the scoleosis. (it appears to have slowed down in it's progression  ) and then a hand x-ray. Somehow they are gonna be able to tell if there is something wrong with his growth rate. (don't have those results back yet, he hasn't gained any wt in 2 yrs and he's only grown 1 1/2" or so. He's dropped down to the 2nd percentile) Overall, it was a good appt. :woohoo: Of course any appt they don't recommend surgery is a good appt to me!

Cora started swim lessons yesturday. She is soo confident in herself and that kind of scares me. I know as an adult she will benefit but as her mother now, I don't dare to let her out of my site. :p

Well, sorry to hear so many of you have been sick. I hope each of you recover quickly and better than ever.

Hey, U......my daughter WANTS braces!!! :lmao:

Take care everybody

:sunny:

I will go back and re-read what I just read, but because my 'idea' is currently copied and contained in my mouse's right-click button, I must post that first. :rotfl:

Here's my idea............I was thinking of starting a continuous, year-round Holiday/Seasonal themed package-forward. Like before, I'd start by sending to someone and they'd send.........on and on but, based upon whatever upcoming holiday is, the contents would always change, and the receiver would keep everything and send the next holiday/seasonal themed items to the next person. Make sense? I'd send Easter items to the first person (Robin, I guess, since she already signed up :rotfl2: ), Robin would send, say Mother's Day or Father's Day, if appropriate, or spring or summer, or 4th of July, and the next receiver would send Fall, Halloween, whatever. On and on. What do you think? I am of course ASKING first who wants to join, as this would cover a LONG time frame, obviously.

A "pay-it-forward Holiday/Seasonal exchange"? :confused3

If we had enough people that wanted to do this, we could actually get the list of holidays/seasons done in advance, and everyone would know who and what they're buying for well in advance. The only tight spot I see possibly being a problem would be Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas, one in each month.

Well, let me know what you think. Sign up if you want. The list will go in order of sign-ups, for now, unless I think of something better, or someone suggests something better. ;) Also, if you celebrate a particular holiday that I would not be thinking of, like Hanukkah, etc., please let me know to add that to the list incase your 'time' comes up for receiving around then. ;)

Based only on MY thoughts right now:
Starting now: Easter/Spring
Next: Mother's/Father's Day/Summer
Then: 4th of July maybe (what else is in July/Aug?)
Then: Fall/Labor Day
Then: Halloween,
Thanksgiving,
and Christmas,
followed with maybe New Year's (kinda close to Christmas tho)
Valentine's Day
St. Patrick's Day and back to Easter. Subject to changes/ideas/additions by all you creative TKs!

Really rough ideas at this point. Input Most Appreciated! :grouphug:

Back to replying now................. :wave2:

We decided to go with the guy who is Rick's airplane friend and who I went to school with. He gave us a great price, probably too good of a price. But I'm not arguing about it. :p He said they weren't too busy right now and we could probably have our new kitchen in about 4 weeks, since all of the cabins are custom made by them.
Sounds great Robin! Custom-made cabinets sound wonderful! :thumbsup2 Four weeks doesn't sound bad either, based on the little I know of other's experiences, 2-3 months! :rolleyes2

Kim - Tinknutt got the canvas bag...I don't know if she can get more...I'll have to ask.

I talked to Tinknutt & SWHNN yesterday and today - they are having a wonderful time at WDW. I wish I was with them - but I'm STILL too sick to go. Still can't get my fever down...I'm going to call the doc on Monday.

I have the viewing to go to for my co-worker that died today and the funeral tomorrow....not my best weekend, I can say that!
Ann, don't fret about the bag. I was just letting 'whoever' know how great it is! Kelly already colored it and wanted to use it today, but her Ice Skates wouldn't fit into it! :lmao: She really liked it, and it's a great gift! Thanks for letting me know, and Thank You Susan!! :goodvibes

Ann, I'm sooo sorry you're missing Sister's weekend, and more importantly that you're soooo sick. :guilty: Get well first, everyone understands. They certainly do NOT want to get what you have, which I think is the flu. :guilty: :grouphug: :wizard:

Feel better Ann! :goodvibes

I think custom cabinets are worth the four weeks construction Robin.

I pray you feel better soon Miss Ann
