Hi All  Happy Monday :yay:

Robin, the triangle is a good idea, things flow. I think the cabinet is beautiful, but should be moved to living room or formal dining room? I'm not sure about knocking down that wall, with all the entries, it may be a support wall. Also if your not going to enclose inside and out, it would look kindof funky. Like the little bar/island suggestion from Colleen. :thumbsup2

Colleen the puppies are cute, post pics when you you get the puppy trimmed. :)

Betsy, how are you. Glad you didn't get more snow. We are chilly here too, but there is sunshine. :sunny:

BOB waiting for trip report. :goodvibes

Ann you were marvelous (singing) :rolleyes1 , had a good time last night too. How is the headache?

Kim, where are you??? :confused3

Cally, glad to hear that your son is better, hope you didn't catch anything. Don't forget bachelor tonight. :Pinkbounc

Ophie how is the move going?

SW I like the cheesecake factory too. We don't have one close to us :guilty:. Have to drive in a bunch of traffic to Jax beach to get there...

Hi U how is VMK and school?

Happy Valentines to all

Chat later. :grouphug:

Hey everyone.. thank you for the well wishes :goodvibes

The dr's visit went good... as good as it's gonna get with military doctors.

He has some dry spots on his skin (stomach and back area and a little bit on his groan area). He's had it for a while and the first time I took him to the doc she said to just let him get some sunshine and the sun should make them go away... :confused3 So we did that and it seemed to go away a little but it comes back full force.

So we took him back in today..and this time the doc says it could be nummular eczema. He is not sure but he perscribed some lotion, hydrocortizon, and zertec. He is sending us to a dermetologist off base but we have to wait 3 days for the approval to go through. GRRRRR

I was reading up on it tho on the net..one of the symptoms is itchiness but DeVaughn says it does not itch at all. :confused3 I've seen some pics of it on line and it looks really gross.. it does not look like that on him. We have ruled out psoriases and ringworm. It sounds like nummular eczema but w/out the itchy and pain.

Hopefully we'll get some answers soon... :confused3

Cally, now you've got me a bit confused. How do you pronounce DeVaughn's name?

DeVaughn is pronounced.. Dev-von. does that make sense? :confused3 or Devon... We just chose some crazy ridiculous way to spell it to throw people off :rotfl2:

He has had no problem learning to spell and write it tho, which really impressed us. We always thought he'd have a hard time with it. Dante was so short and so easy to learn.

No space in the living room for the cabinet (with the big upright piano-which is too big to move, fishtank and television) and we have no formal dining room, just the eat in kitchen. If I have to move it, I will probably put it down in the finished basement :confused3 Don't know where else I would put it, although when Alex moves out I could possibly put it in his room ;)

The wall is not a supporting wall, so no problem taking it out but I'm really not sure that it would look right, might make the room look really funny.

The bar/island is definitely a possibility.

Thanks for the input.

Okay, I always took it to be D-von: sounding like "D" (as in d-og) and "von" (as in Baron von something or other) :rotfl2:

:scratchin ........... I see that pictures are morphing into other pictures around here tonight.

You guys having fun ;)

 Everyone!!!

I'm keeping up with you, just lurking all OVER these boards lately!

We're booked :yay: , deposit made, with or w/o brother :guilty: , we're still waiting to hear his final decision, he was supposed to talk to his son tonight and see how he felt. :confused3 Hopefully, both will come, but if not, hopefully nephew will come with us anyway. :goodvibes

I am requesting all TKs help! :thumbsup2 Any and all ideas for a first-time trip would be appreciated! Give me the obvious - I may have forgotten since I last went  - give me the must-sees for a bunch of first-timers, ALL age ranges too! We have 1 - 62 yos. We will split up, thankfully, but group stuff is good too.

So far, I'd like for us to do Chef Mickey's, 50s Prime Time and maybe Hoop Dee Doo, as a group, all together (Mom wants a couple nice dinners together). For the girls, any kind of Cindy's meal. My dad and bro(s) want to golf 1-2 times (wait til they see what it costs! LOL). With all the different 'wants', any and all ideas are welcome! It may suit one or all, you never know!

TIA

P.S. Should I be worried about airfare now (about $300 r/t each), or wait? :confused3 I'm scared we won't get a flight....is that silly of me? How far in advance do YOU book flights? :confused3

P.P.S. Please excuse my selfish OCD re: this trip. :rolleyes2 :sad2:

:yay:

Kiminy! I need your addy~

Why do I not have your address? Didn't I send you a Christmas card? :confused3

HoopdeDoo should be booked EARLY! I'll be back when I find out when...:moped:

I like seeing all these questions...

~IMO~

Airfare's best prices come out about 90 days before the flight. You can start to look now to get a feel for how much the averages is running. My rule of thumb is if it's under $200 it's for me :surfweb:

Do you have active or retired military people in your group? They get special rates for golf at the Magnolia & one other course over at the Shades of Green resort.

How's your experience with character meals? I love em...could probably recite a list of em for you right off the top of my head

The Princess meal at the castle is harder to get than the one in Norway from what I read. And I believe Disney's added a 3rd PM-it's VERY popular :thumbsup2
