Have fun tonight!!
Roger has to work this weekend... he has to fly tomorrow and his show time is 330am :faint: But he should be landing around 1pm so that's good... but I hate drill weekends....

So it's going to be an early quiet night tonight... :ssst:
:scared: :teeth: Woohooooooooooooooooooo :cool1: ::yes::

HMMMM :scratchin What this one... :jumping1: :teeth: :teeth: How do I explain it?
:rotfl:

It's what adults do when they tell the kids they were "napping"

You become a Castaway Cay Club member after taking your first Disney cruise

My Mom got a free tote bag left in our room for her upon arrival, we were invited to a "meet the Captain-welcome back" gathering (free drinks ;) ) and when we checked in at the port there is a shorter, special check in line for CCC cardholders.

I'm not sure if any discounts come with the card...Robin would have to answer that one.

A discount is always welcome in my world :)

You pretty much summed it all up.

We got the tote bag too, we also own 3 Disney towels from previous trips and a bunch of Castaway Club pins (didn't get any pins this time though).

No discounts.:sad2:

I don't know why we only got one but that was way back in 1999, so maybe they only sent out one to the person's name who was on the top of the reservation :confused3

We do ALL have our own Castaway Club numbers because I sent an email and asked for them. They were very prompt in sending me a reply listing all of our numbers.

You work really hard on squeezing those pennies because the cruise would not be complete without you.
My Mom had to ask for her CCC numbers

I have no other plans this year except for our yearly visit to the outer banks and that will actually be cheaper for us cause we are going after labor day this time. We can save from half to two-thirds off a full season rental by going two weeks later than normal. I will most likely rent Rose's house in December if I can and take both trips with just John...wouldn't that be special  :love2: :rolleyes1

Hey, I just got a cool gift handed to me :cheer2:

Friends of ours are British and went home to England for Christmas with their grown children.

They brought me back a pair of English license plates for my collection :cheer2:

Now I will have one for the garage wall collection and one for my Mini (when I GET my Mini :teeth: )

Where is the outer banks? My DS (the one in VA) talks about going there? We may be going to VA in November.....is it close? When are you going?

Sounds like a nice trip.

We are pretty much sure that we will be back in Florida again in the end of April. Rick wants to go to some model airplane thing and I'm surely not letting him go to Florida without me ;)

We will be about 1/2 - hour away from Disney (I think).

Ann, Susan, maybe a chance that we can meet somewhere half way and have a get together :confused3 We can discuss it later when plans are more solid.

I agree with Mandy.

I really liked the way he looked in POC but in most of his other stuff, unnn, not really that interesting to me :confused3

He looked weird in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... I even forgot it was him... but I LOVED him in POC :p

If you look at a map of North Carolina there is a small band of land on the outer edge of the state...

That is the outer banks of NC. We stay around a town called Nags Head. Kill Devil Hills is where Wilber and Orville Wright flew for the first time. It is the next town north of where we stay.

VA beach is about 2 to 4 hours north of OBX, depending on traffic ;)

Go to my photobucket, I have many sub-albums there from previous trips...it's beautiful there.

Rose gave me a date of Sept 9th and we are going for two weeks.

D'oh, can't you tell that Geography isn't a hobby of mine :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

A question for Mandy.

The license plates I received are large rectangular in shape about 6 x 12 inches or 15 x 30 cms.

I thought that most license plates from over your way were long and narrow rectangles. I have one from Germany and one from Holland that are long and narrow.

Just wondering what you have on your cars?
