We are all back at TNs house getting ready to watch Polar Express. We're leaving really early so I'll say my Merry Christmases to you all now

Those zany kids called me earlier.....

I haven't heard that much giggling since my last high school dance.....

we had kind of a bad connection though.....

I got a call earlier too. It was on my cell phone that was upstairs so I missed it.

I called back though and talked with all 3 of those zany kids myself. It was great to hear the voices.

I just got an update..

They moved hubby's landing time up..

They will arrive at 1:15 am.. but due to all the in processing they have to do they wont be released til around 3:30 am...

well...I can see our tree from here.....

I see both my new squirrels .....and my Brer Critters in the log ornament is right in the middle....under a yellow light...like a spot light.....

I ask you....how cool was the SS???

Yup, very super cool indeed. I've just been looking through all of the goodies that I received. Trying desparately not to consume all of that chocolate.

I can't wait to hear about that thong that PA is going to crochet.

Our family received an invitation tonight to dinner on Christmas Eve at Alex's girlfriend's grandmother's home.

The dinner will be her family (parents and 5 little brothers and one little sister ) , her grandmother and us. I have met all of the people involved before.

There is talk of Alex and Jessica becoming engaged in the next year.

I'm thinking that we definitely should be going since we were invited. It would be a good way to start off the new family relationships don't you think? Of course, we may share a grandchild (or 2 ) with these people some day in the future. I would want both families to be able to be included together in any activities in the future if it were important.

My thinking is that we will attend. Would you guys go or not?
