I tried to send it to Betsy but you got in the way first ;)

So, my aim was off a bit, I never was much of a baseball player :earboy2:

I just got back from picking up Liz, so now I can rest easy because my baby is home ;)

I thought the boards were going down at midnight :confused3

Anyways, have a good night everyone.

I find delivery confirmation to be a big joke because they dont' scan the thing half the time anyways.
Robin, if it's like the USPS, they only scan while it's in their jurisdiction. So, Canada won't scan/wouldn't work for a package coming from the U.S. and vice versa. At least that's what I was told about international shipping. :confused3

I was here a little earlier but had to leave when the server was too busy. I'm gonna try and catch up now.

BTW, does anyone here remember Kelly having walking pnuemonia last year? Bad Mommy I am. I think she did, and I think she has it again, but I honestly don't remember. :confused3 No time to search the thread either. :guilty: TIA

They usually do scan the parcels when they are delivered though, so I know when they are finally at their destinations just not usually in between stuff.

I do think that I remember Kelly having walking pnuemonia last year. I know she was quite sick for a long time.

So did I, when the Dr. diagnosed walking pnuemonia. It's not that again, I'm sure of it.

I found this if it helps any Kim, posted January 11, 2005

Yeah, I know we had that ongoing tummy thing-turned hernia and some regular illnesses mixed in, I just can't remember for sure about the walking pnuemonia - whether she had it, or I just thought she had it. :confused3

Well, if you actually get confirmation when a package arrives in the States, you're lucky. We don't get the same in return. Only to the border. :confused3

And Robin, since you know who I have, I think you know my concern. ;) Oh wait, TN KNOWS too, eh? <noted! :rotfl:

The nurse said that a cough is really hard to get rid of :rolleyes2 , no kidding, and that if she wasn't better in a couple of days, to call them again. I don't think it's anything requiring an antibiotic, just really lingering, but then I never suspected she had walking pnuemonia either. :sad2:

Also this was posted on March 19, 2005, so I guess that she did have it at some point.

And apparently does again. :guilty: Thanks Robin for all the emails while the boards were down, reminding ME of WHAT Kelly had before. Bad Mommy! :guilty:

Good news!!! Laundry is done, for now, the Boards are Back...for how long, I don't know......And I'm frazzled-busy until the New Year, given the BDs and parties and gifts, and oh yeah, CHRISTMAS! I need BD wrapping paper in December! Big time! :bday:  Go figure!

Morning everyone!! :sunny:

Very chilly here this morning... it was in 28 earlier and now it's 30.. We have a local parade going on today at 10am on one of our main streets.. I was thinking of going to the store to get a few things.. but I have to go to the main street and I know it's going to be traffic traffic traffic  So maybe I'll just wait ...

Oh no... :guilty: What are the symptoms of it?

I hope she gets better soon and that it's not too hard on her :wizard: :wizard:

Morning!

Gotta go :moped:

Have a good day!

Morning Cally.

Chilly here too , somewhere in the mid teens I think :cold:

I think we have a Santa Claus parade here too today but I won't be going to it. I'd rather not freeze my patooties off :cold:

Kim, I'm hoping Kelly feels better soon too. Do you remember the treatment for that? I can't help you there but Alex probably knows ;)

Morning Betsy, where you running off to today?

The Threadkillers have been quiet today :ssst:

Got my SS done today!!! And Robin, your DVDs are on their way back to you probably Monday---very nice job lady, you showed me a few new moves, stuff right off of MTV!

Glad Liz made it home ok, tired and irritable but safe eh? <---noted~

Mine had a good time at the concert last night, tonight Brittany went to Philly with her other best friend Courtney...they really like to make me worry :worried: Brittany wanted to get her hair cut at a salon on south street, get a concert ticket for herself for next sunday night and do a little shopping. We're expecting a bit of a storm tonight, I hope they get home before it starts.

I picked up a Christmas tree to take cruising with us...I was going to get one from Shirley's perfect gift but decided $13 was better than $60.

TN, we take 95 all the way til we hit I-4, would i75 be better? PM me directions please...yes, we are expecting to see you on the 22nd. The 21st we stay in Santee, SC-I believe it's 8 hours from there to Orlando...if you are 3 hours from Orlando it should only take us 5 hours to get to you. Tell me what time is best and Mom will get us there...We are driving home on the 2nd of January, we'll probably drive well into SC or NC before we stop for the night-thank you for the offer tho.

Cally, I finally see your foot! I refreshed like you told Robin and now it's there...looks really manly for having come out of a pink egg :rotfl:

Kim, poor Kelly...Brittany used to get sick all the time too...you're not a bad Mama. Brittany would throw in a softball or basketball injury in between all the colds (just to keep me on my toes eh?) <---noted ::yes::

Hi Ann
BP

and all you other TKers and lurkers alike...I never took the decos out last night so that's where I'm headed now. TTFN...:moped:

Good Evening everyone!
Im back ...I had a big shopping day...got a lot of gifts checked off my list! ;)

It was sooo frigid out today...and of course you had to park a mile from the stores... :cold: ...

considering...Im the first poster since this morning you all must be pretty busy too....

Ill check in later....Until then..... Have a good night . :wave2:

 .....

hey Colleen...How did you sneak in there without me seeing :confused3

 Where are all the threadkillers hiding out these days :confused3

I spent an hour outside today (yes even in the teen degree weather we had ;) ) I decided that yes it was cold but there was no wind today which is a rare thing, so out I went.

I needed to get my fishpond covered up against the winter winds, so I bundled up and got it done. Actually I wasn't even cold. :earboy2:

I got the pond covered, some things picked up out of the yard and put away for winter and filled the birdfeeders in that hour.

I really hate to cover my pond for the winter. It's sad to put the fishies away until spring. It is better for them because it stays pretty comfortable under that tarp temperature wise. I look forward to spring when I can uncover them again :sunny:

I've been spending all night checking airline prices and other costs for flying versus driving when we go away in January. We don't have a definite decision made. Most of us don't mind the long drive to Florida (except the main driver of course :rotfl2: ) The drive means we can bring more stuff with us than if we fly. If we fly we get there in 2 1/2 hours of flying time versus 19 hours of straight driving time. Decisions, decisions :earboy2:

I prefer flying, my wallet prefers driving

When I go on trips with my girlfriends I tend to fly, when I go with the whole family we drive.

The prices for your time frame should actually be reasonable...

I saw you post Betsy and figured you hadn't heard me come in ;)

The boards are really slow and it's late...nite nite TKers

:rose:

:moped:

Goodnight Colleen.

I've already tried to go to sleep once and it didn't work, so here I am again!

Paging Dr. Robin.......Paging Dr. Robin....... ;)

I was wrong. Sinus infection this time. Major congestion/infection, but in the sinuses this time rather than the lungs. This is good and bad. Glad her lungs are clear, but the sinuses are really bad. 2 prescriptions ($90) to clear it up, to take over the next 14 days! She also can't drink alcohol, operate heavy machinery.......etc. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: She had to abstain at the party today ;) , and I had to drive home! ;) Thanks for all your help last night! :goodvibes

Cally, the only symptom she had was a cough, for about 3 weeks. Dr. said it probably started as a cold and just got worse. Which is correct. Never a fever, and just a slight loss of appetite, but that's hard to notice with her as she never eats anyway. Other than the cough, you'd never know she was 'ill'. I'm glad it's not contagious, given my recent tirade about the 'other' mom. How embarrassed I would be!

We were Out ALL Day today! Market Day at school, followed by Brownies, which we went to, but she didn't stay because of the Dr. appt., and then the Dr. appt., and then getting the prescriptions, and then my nephew's 1st BD party at 2:00. I needed a nap by the time I got to the party! Long, long day! I'm glad I took her to the Dr tho. After just the 2 doses of each med today, her 'barking' is nearly gone! She fell asleep w/o a single cough tonight (she was also exhausted, after today). What a switch tho! GOOD Meds! :teeth:

Weather report: Before we left the party, I had to go out and warm the van and clean the snow off. I'm not used to that, as the van sits in the garage when not in use at home. Also, had to shovel when we got home. Still was snowing then. Tip: keep a shovel at/near your entrance/exit so that you can start shoveling right from the door. Also, :cold: today. Not horrible, with the sun, like yesterday, but teens ºoº.

'm falling asleep..I gotta go.

Kim
