I hope that you can resolve your issues with Kelly's dad to everyones satisfaction and have a great Christmas day

Given the scenario right now, I'll be spending SOME time very alone on Cmas day. That's MY compromise. Her Dad has none. And Matt will leave sometime after opening gifts in the morning, when he's ready.

Sorry.....I'm really not depressed about this...yet. I just need to get a grip (haha, Not right-handed right now tho), and let them both go at some point for some time/all day. It's not THEIR fault this is happening/happened.

Thanks Robin! I need to keep remembering what's good/fun for them, not me! Seriously, I'd like to go with Kelly to my in-laws on Cmas, but feel it would be too weird, and I wasn't actually invited.

Thanks for letting me get that out. Trust me, I'll keep busy on Cmas!

You know....I have heard people....and I guess I'm guilty too....of taking and/or complaining about the busy-ness of the Season....

how the Mall's are so busy....parking spots hard to find.... long check out lines.... the na-bob atthe head of the line writing a check....

how crowded the supermarkets are....the last minute errands.....the pains of wrapping....

why...I not only heard the talk...I've read the words!
even here....


BUSY BUSY BUSY! Yes....or better known as hustle and bustle....

but guess what?

all that busy busy is nothing compared with what's going on RIGHR NOW at the North Pole!

Think about it!

Santa's sleigh is being loaded ....being loaded from the both sides and the back....... plus....the coal & onions ae being stowed away under the sleigh....

gifts are being wrappped for those last minute 'Nice" entries....

the jingle bells on the Sleigh and on the reindeer harness are being shined....

Mrs Claus is finishing the last of the cookies....
the Christmas meal for Santa's return is about to start beng prepared....

The Elf Navigators and Elf Meteoroligists are plotting Santa's course in accordance with global weather patterns....

the reindeer are being washed and then combed....

Santa's traveling suit is being pressed.....his boots and belt buckle are being shined....

Santa's and Mrs. Claus's stocking are being hung on their own mantel....

Christmas Carol's are being sung.....

Santa is over-seeing it all....directing the Christmas Eve activities by radio, mega-phone, telephone and even by computer....

All this just for you...and for me....

all this North Pole busy busy....just so we have a....

Yesterday I picked up a really cute plant for Jessica's grandma. It has a poinsettia in the middle and is surrounded by some small white mum looking flowers (don't remember the name of them) Jessica saw it yesterday and said that her grandma would like it. Now I should probably clarify that I have met Jessica's grandma before and she is not your typical grandma. She is probably in her mid 50's, a young grandma

I'm sorry that you will have to spend some of Christmas Day alone Kim. I know it will be hard for you. It WOULD probably be very strange to go with Kelly to your in-laws but lots of people do that sort of thing.

You are right, you need to do what is the right thing for Kelly and also for Matt. I'm sure that they find it strange being away from you for Christmas too, especially Kelly since it will be her first time.

I totally agree. My friends on the TKers are the most awesome people I have met in a long, long time.
