I was around all weekend pretty much but I don't know where everyone else was.

I have some skewers around, I'm going to have to "upgrade" my toppers I guess. I will have to make them different heights so they fit into my vase "bouquet"
I'm glad that your mom had fun on her vacation. Gave you a little break too.
I've gotten Liz off for her first day at college. Alex starts today at 11, so he is still sleeping
Today is my mom and brother's birthdays. I have invited mom and brother too if he wants to come, over for supper tonight. Apparently brother and his girlfriend have suggested that maybe they would take mom and dad out for supper but no definite plans were decided on. Mom's going to call this afternoon and let me know.
Been a crazy weekend, my brother's daughter also left for college on Saturday. His exwife is a bit on the loony side and was really upset that my brother was spending money on sending my niece to school and also for braces for 2 out of 3 kids
She got mad and screamed at my niece who was gathering her stuff for school, really scared her too. My niece said to my mom...... well, I really feel loved
Then while her dad was driving to her to school, her mom calls and wants to know why she didn't come and say goodbye
Niece tells her she didn't because she had scared her and she was afraid to come back. But she tells her mom she is welcome to come and visit her at college anytime she wants. Ex- sisterinlaw will never do it, I'm pretty sure.
Then my brother had to tell XSIL that their son did not want to go home and wants to live with his dad. Well, another whole fight over that. She tells my nephew to come and get his stuff, she wants nothing more to do with him. Poor kids only 13
She has one daughter left at home (15 year old). I don't know how long she will stay there. They haven't been mean to her yet but since she is the only one left in the house, it is probably just a matter of time. XSIL has a boyfriend that lives in and doesn't work and basically yells and berates the kids all of the time. No wonder they don't want to stay there. I'm just glad that they have a good dad to turn to.
My mom said she told my dad the other day...... at least we don't have to worry about Robin's kids because SHE is a good mother. How sweet huh
Gotta run, things to do and places to go and people to see.........

We may have more company at the Faire---a coworker of mine is going with her fam, a friend of hubby's is interested in going and DSs girlfriend had expressed interest---we'll see who actually makes it. I know four who will be there
