Guess what, I'm going to Disney World!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, again!!!!!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~
Rose called me 30 minutes ago and said Southwest has airfare, round trip for $117...are we going?
I thought for a tenth of a second, asked hubby if he wanted to go...he said no, he has no vacation time to use...but if I wanted to go I should.
So I turned back to Rose on the phone and said book-it-Rosey!
We're all set for the 8th of October, she already had her 3 bedroom (time-share) home booked for that week. We were gonna drive but for $117-it's cheaper to fly.
Of course she had to get it for me cause my :badpc: decided to hiccup when I was booking the flight and I wound up on the next one and had to have Rose book it for me.
Oh Well...
cause :dancer: I'm goin to disney world
I'm goin to disney world...
naner naner naner
Who's comin with us?
We got 3 bedrooms, I got one, Rose got one and we still have two twins and a couch bed open...
I really like Renaissance fairs...The one we have gone to is not as professional as this one looks....and a Winery also! Id like to try their wine...Not to much though ..Im not a big drinker...So I have to be careful or Ill get drunk on just one or two bottles :earseek: ...errr glasses :teeth: ....No really I can drink a few glasses but I have to make sure I have eaten...
I have gone to wine tours around one of the fingerlakes....Its alot of fun,you pay one price, drive around Cayuga lake, stop at all the winerys, they let you sample alot of differnt wines.... You buy or not and move along to the next winery...the places are beautiful...and some of the wines are really good, but they give you a cup to spit out what you dont like...that way you dont get drunk befor the end of the tour ;)
I just hope Colleen doesnt mind hanging out with two oldsters :teeth: ..
Tell me you're coming and I'll save one for you...
I'm serious when I offer the room.
It's a secure resort so you HAVE to tell me you're coming so I can get you a security pass to get in.
Sounds like me and your hubby will be babysitting you and mine ;)
My John likes his wine, they have a peach that's his favorite. I'd rather have a beer...but since he and you will be wine tasting I'll stick to soda so I can drive him home.
My friend Rose is 9 yrs my senior and her hubby is 13...
We will have an awesome time together, no worries there.
I was hoping BP would be able to come, he should be in that Best Kilt competition ::yes::
Did you see the movie sideways?
It's base story is all about traveling and wine tasting in California...no action with an interesting storyline...almost a chick flick.
Robin, I've mentioned that you should join Rose and Me in October
~but that was before you booked the cruise~
Wow! 9 1/2 hours! That's a ride!
Oh I wont drink enough to be babysat......If I did Id get car sick on the way home...... :teeth:
Ill try a wine or two ...but I normally drink Ice tea....Or water...as I said Im a light weight....
Peach?.....That does sound good!.....I dont like the heavier wine ..like the reds that much...I like the blushes...like a zinfandel...
Robin,
:laughing: I use the term "babysit" VERY loosly ;)
I meant you and John have something in common...
I wish we spoke of this before NC, one of John's favorite comes from NC called Hatteras Red. He tried a Sangria but says he prefers the homemade stuff.
I've never stayed there but the Inn looks just like an Inn and is in fact directly across the street from the winery.
Robin, would you consider a road trip like this? :moped:
ZJO Threadkillers! Ya'll sound like you've been busy.
I had a very weird day today. I spent most of the morning shaky, and weak knee'd and felt like I was going to pass out - even when I was sitting! The longer it went - the worse it got! Finally a co-worker suggested that I try something with sugar. You know me - I DO NOT eat sugar!....but at this time I was willing to try anything! So, I drank a sprite and about 20 minutes after I finished - I was feeling like myself again! Weird, huh?
Anyway, after I started feeling better, I had a nice, productive day at work. Sounds like ya'll have some nice vacation plans! I did wine tasting once - in Sicily. It was great! I like wine, but I'm not a regular wine drinker....only once in a blue moon!
Well, ya'll take care and have a great evening! I may lurk a little through out the night!
Cya :cool1:
:wave: Everyone
Ann, you still here??
That was weird what happened to you. Did you eat breakfast, lunch?
Take care of yourself, please.
Hiya Robin - I'm lurking on the community board. I hadn't had b'fast - because I had a blood test to take. I was feeling shaky afterwards, so I grabbed a low-carb b'fast - but that didn't help.
I dunno - I think my blood sugar was just too durn low. I'm hoping this is just a one-time weirdness and not a problem!....dagnabbit!
I felt better after the sprite and MUCH better after lunch!
Colleen, I don't know if I would do a trip like that or not.
I'm sure that Rick has an airplane competition that weekend (Sept 17 ~wasn't that the date you were talking about?)
I'd have to do the drive by myself, so probably not :guilty:
Sounds like someone's been working too hard
Robin: Can you consult with Dr Alex for our Ann...
Ann, is there any history of diabetes in your fam?
I hope it was just a flukey thing too.
You don't really need a problem like that.
Hopefully it won't happen again.
I have to go a'lurkin too :teeth:
Just a thought...yes Sept 17th
Would Liz come, it seems like something she'd like to do...
