Nope, you didn't kill it.

I'm still around.

I was just hanging out waiting for someone else to show up. :)

Well, Hiya Robin! I'm here, but I'm getting ready to go to bed! It's been crazy busy here for me. Work, work, work.....good thing I like my job! I'll put in about 50 hours this week....

Take care and I hope everyone has a good night. Remember: If BrerPapa wants everyone to sing-along with him tonight - DO NOT let him juggle microphones! They make a heck of a racket when they start ringing and buzzing with interference!

You go have a nice rest. It sounds like you deserve it.

I probably won't be here too much longer either.

I'll keep on eye out for BP :magnify:

Hey it's a tough job but someone has to do it :duck:

So sorry to hear of your Aunt, Betsy. :(

Care to opine to this......
Well, not knowing the WHOLE make-up of said family, except that there are 2 DDs (your cousins), the oldest certainly couldn't stay, since it was her DD getting married, right? (Did I follow this correctly?) And, again not knowing, maybe the younger DD is the niece's Godmother or favorite Aunt or something, and just couldn't bear to miss it either? :confused3 That's not to say that someone, extended family, or friend of your Aunt's, someone couldn't have volunteered, or been asked to stay/visit occasionally, etc. I have a feeling that your Aunt was more upset that she herself couldn't go. :guilty:

Wellllllll, howdy do BP?! (And not the Buffalo Bob kinda howdy do! ;))Everyone's been a-missin' ya!

:rotfl: Susan! You WANT my grocery list?! Right now there's nothing on it, because I went today, but I'll keep ya posted. ;)

Ann, WOULD I tell you???? :confused3 Speaking hypothetically of course, I guess if I truly wrote a book, I'd tell the World, so that they'd BUY it, right!!! :rotfl:

The story line interests me more than the racy stuff . So maybe I wouldnt' be able to write a romance novel, unless I wrote the oldfashioned kind without the racy stuff in it.
WHO'D read it?! :rotfl: (j/k)

Btw, we saw 2 GOOD movies today - Imagine that!

10am we took DNephew with us to see the free showing of "Robots" (popcorn and pop are NOT free tho, of course, but we had coupons :teeth: ). It was FUNNY!!! Good movie for kids and grandkids alike! (As well as parents and grandparents, too!) ;) LOTS of 'famous' voices!

Tonight, just Kelly & I watched Ice Princess. Geesh, pass THIS Mom the tissue ok? Good movie, we both enjoyed it (me in tears near the end), but boys might not care too much for it, if ya know what I mean. ;) Of course, Kelly wants to take ice skating lessons now. And, I looked into it already. :rolleyes2

I can call tomorrow after 5pm to find out about the jury duty summons for Monday. Part of me wants to get it over with, while I'm off work, but the other part wants to go to Kiddieland with DD, my cousin and her kids on Monday. :confused3

Happy TGIF to everyone! :cheer2: :grouphug:

Hiya PrincessaC!
:wave2:

Hello my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! School starts tomorrow!!!!!! :earseek: I met both the boys teachers today. They seem like pretty nice teachers. DeVaughn was acting so shy when his teacher was asking him questions. Oh it's so cute...he's growing up :guilty: He's not a baby anymore.

I just wish they went to the same schools but they split up the schools. Dante goes to another school down the street but they will be on the same bus. Isn't that crazy. So their whole life they will be in different schools. Oh well... maybe they can go to college together. :wizard:

Have a nice night everyone! :cloud9:

Oh Cally, HUGE {{HUGS}} for the morning! I teared up/cried both 'First Days' for my kids. Tip: Wear sunglasses, no matter what the :sunny: is doing! It hides your weepy eyes!

That must be heartbreaking that the boys will never attend together! Will their grades/schools ever overlap? Like DS & DD, they had ONE year together, it was so special for ME! ;) DS was in 8th grade, a big shot, and DD was in Pre-K3. One finishing, and one just beginning. Hard to believe I have a HS Senior this year, and a 2nd grader. :faint: I'm glad you have only one bus issue tho. There's some comfort in that.

:teacher: Here's to Dante and DeVaughn's first days! Our first TK kids to go back or start this year! And, more {{HUGS}} for Mom! :grouphug:

P.S. My movie review comment about the 'chick-flick', I had your boys in mind. Otherwise, it was for all the parents and grandparents here. ;)

Robots is good for both boys and girls, as a matter of fact, the 'girls' in our group outnumbered the 'boys' today - 3 to 2! And we ALL liked it! :teeth:

Thank you so much for the kind words and hugs...

I got them off to school... :guilty: Actually I kind of cheated...I took Dante to the bus stop and I had Roger take DeVaughn to school. We wanted to take DeVaughn to school and get him comfortable first rather then ride the bus and get lost somewhere along the way with a bunch of kids. So we will be taking him the first few weeks.

So it was kind of like Dante's first first day of school because it's a new school and his first time EVER riding a bus. When the bus pulled around the corner my heart started to race and my eyes started to glaze over :rotfl: But I stayed strong...told Dante not to be nervous and to have a great day!

I am so glad Roger took DeVaughn to school because I don't think I could of handled it. I hugged and kissed him before he left and I was already feeling the tears.

What am I going to do with an empty house???!?!??!?!?!!?! :confused3

I think I got it figured out..

The school DeVaughn goes to is Pre-K thru 1 (we thought it was 2nd initially) and the school Dante goes to is 2 thru 5 so they will have one year together just like you Kim. DeVaughn will be starting and Dante will be finishing. I know that will be a great year!

Well I know what movie we will have to rent this weekend if we have time. ;)

Thank you Betsy!

There were a few people taking pictures at the bus stop and video taping. :goodvibes The first day of school is so special. As is the last day of school.

Are the twins starting Pre-K or Kindergarden?

Have a great day!

:wave2: Kim, Betsy, Susan, Cally :wave2:

Aww, the first day of school. I remember that. :)

I'm sure you will find a way to fill the time Cally. The first day or 2 you will probably wander around wondering what to do, but you will soon get the hang of it ;)

Betsy, I haven't tried to pill the cat yet today. We got one pill into him yesterday though. I'm having a hard enough time trying to type this morning with the damage he inflicted on my finger yesterday

Aww...Robin,
I wish I could come over and help ya out with the meds...I use to do 20-30- cats in a morning.....Oh well just keep trying the more you get in him the better he'll feel.........Try gloves....I think gloves makes it harder, but most of the people I worked with wouldnt do anything without their gloves on.....

Cally,
The twins are starting Kindergarden....I dont know if we have a pre-K here.....
They have already met their teachers.....They have to go to different classes ......I guess they do better when they are split up. :confused3 ...I though they wouldnt like that idea, but they are very excited...and cant wait to go....

Betsy, so do I wish you could come over and help me "pill" the cat ;) Having an expert to help would make it just so much easier to handle.

He's a big cat 12 1/2 pounds and very strong, so he's a handful when he doesn't want to do something

I think as long as the girls don't mind being split up in school that it might be a good idea. That way they don't tend to stick together, like some twins do. They will both make their own friends this way too. They will be able to grow and be seen as individuals, instead of just the "twins".

I'm sure they will do well, and since it is kindergarten, if they don't do well separated, maybe they will be able to put them together.

I agree with Robin on splitting up the twins. Maybe that's the best way to show them individuality (is that a word? :confused3 maybe I need to go back to school)

I agree...it will be good for them.....I cant belive they are going to school already....time just zooms right on by....... :moped:
