DalPal - that was SO nice (and so typical of you) to visit your Aunt. You're a keeper!

Tinknutt - Lunch with your DS worked out well. He said he was going to try to hook up with some friends later....I hope he did.....he needs a cell phone! He's always a good lunch companion! He said he missed karaoking with the sisters - you want to arrange for a karaoke night sometime when you're both not working? I know I'd love it!

The first day of school went well!!! I was so proud to see both the boys getting off the school bus this afternoon and running towards me screaming my name! DeVaughn wanted to take his backpack off right away and show me all the stuff he did. We had to run to the house he was excited!

I'm sorry I have been neglecting the TK'er thread... I am a true addict of vmk. Well actually today I got a lot done around the house. Did some cleaning up then went grocery shopping. I have been reading also. I am reading The Testament right now by John Grisham. It's pretty good.

When the boys got home from school we went over all their work and I have a bunch of paperwork that I need to fill out for them.

Hope you DONT get jury duty.....They have tried to get me three times ...I think....they should give people a choice...There are alot of people out there that would LOVE to do jury duty......IM not one of them....
Im a judge not type of person.....

Thanks for hoping Betsy, but I AM required to go in on Monday. Bummer. I'm glad to get it over with, but I hate missing one (or more) day(s) of the kids' final days of summer. Last time I got called, I got picked, and had to serve for 3 days. It was NOT a pleasant experience as I felt coerced to go along with an innocent verdict. It bothers me to this day, obviously.

I am waiting for Liz to get home from driving her boyfriend home. I prefer to wait for her to get in before I go to bed.

We also have a guest in the house.

There is a remote control airplane competition in town this week and one of Rick's out of town buddies is "sleeping over" at our house.

They are both gone to bed already since they have to be up and out to the airfield and ready to go quite early in the morning.

I am going out to the airfield for dinner tomorrow night.

They are having some sort of pulled pork, baked potatoes, baked beans and I don't know what all else.

Hmmmmm, I know the 'waiting game' myself. Went 'looking' for Matt last night at 1am. Found him in front of the house talking, but I told him he should've checked in with me when he got there, as I was getting worried. Teenagers.

A sleep-over at your house? Cool! Dinner sounds nice - enjoy.

I'm doing my online grocery shopping before I load Matt's Sr. pics CD on my 'puter, before I let his Dad have it. Maybe I can post them, who knows?
