I was looking at some books in the store today and I saw one that you had written

Was it with or w/o the (e)? I don't use the (e) either.

And NO WAY do I write, especially Romance novels!! That would require that I know something along the lines of romance, and I can't say that I do. I write excellent grocery shopping lists tho.

Well Its my Thurs. lunch day with the DGSs.....

and Im bringing my DM to see my DA(my fathers sister) in the hosp. again...

My DA lives(lived) by herself(shes maybe 80? and on an oxygen tank) and fell getting ready for bed last wed. and could not get herself up .....had to sit there all night and most of the next day. befor her hairdresser called my DC(her younger daughter) to see what happened(she NEVER misses a hair appt.)...So DCs DH went and found her ....she had been awake all night...but could not get to the phone on the other side of the bed...How sad is that!?...

Im not really happy with DC and family though...they were all suppose take her to go to a wedding in MIN.on that Fri. DAs only DGDs. (her oldest daughters, daughter)...well they got DA into the hosp. last Thurs....and then all took off to Min.on Fri. AM without her..I know it was a BIG wedding...and all....But couldnt someone have stayed with her???.....I dont know..... she told them to go, but I dont think I would go if it was my mother.... Even if she told me to. ..... ..DC didnt come back from Min. until Mon.night...The wedding was Sat.

They found out she is having heart problems...and now wont let her go home unless there is someone there for her to stay with....

Care to opine to this......Some of my friends think it was ok...some dont.....how about you?..Just wondering!

Anyway...We got the back of the house almost all done...THEN...My deck ...never thought Id get excited about a deck ..but I am!

Special Hi to BP, nice to hear from you...CAN I VOTE??? I will need assistance on who is who....

DalPal, sorry to hear about your Aunt, I'm torn on the stay or go issue....If it was my mom, I would hope one of us would step up to the plate and stay. On the other hand this could have been a big planned vacation for everyone and that would mean a person staying behind, and you can't really do a lot for the person when they are in the hospital but be there and be company. Could cause regrets and anger amongst siblings. (who should have stayed?)

Cruisin, would love to see you on your travels down this way. Just let us know when and we'll make arrangements. I'm including Ann in this.....Glad you are winning the pill battle with the cat, you go girl!

Kim, love romance novels, but since that is not you, I could use the grocery list too.... Ann told me about the GA. I was all excited thought you were going to be close not Oh well maybe some other time.

Gotta work tonight, then off for the weekend. Gonna see my sisters, having withdrawls.

I sometimes wonder if I could write a romance novel but I tend to skip over the racy parts that a certain someone here seems to enjoy an awful lot

The story line interests me more than the racy stuff . So maybe I wouldnt' be able to write a romance novel, unless I wrote the oldfashioned kind without the racy stuff in it.

Betsy, about leaving the mother behind in the hospital.

I guess for me it would depend on how long the trip was to get to the wedding and how important the person getting married was to me.

I think if it was a very important person that I would make the trip but I would probably do it in as short a time frame as possible. Other than being company and if the patient was not in a life threatening situation, there is not much you can really do for them.

Maybe your aunt would be wanting them to go so that she could get some first hand stories and pictures of what happened at the wedding

Yeah, well, the cat won the pill battle this morning. I got a nice scratch on my finger and he spit out the pill a couple of times I will have to get after him again later.

DalPal - I don't know about the aunt. Is it possible that she told the kids to go and they took her at her word? If I was her DD, I'd hesitate, but she may have wanted them to go. Tough situation and I hope it gets better!
