Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 5

The visit to see our little grandson was SO much fun! He is 2.5 and wears a 4T shirts and pants - he's a tall, beefy boy! Anyway, you know those jump/slingshot thing's at malls where the kids go up & down on those giant rubber bands? Well, he LOVES them!

He rode them and then I think I surprised everyone when Nana rode them, too! They were fun!

Later that day - he decided that he wanted his face painted.....an orange snake with pink spots. So what do we do? Nana & Carter BOTH get their faces painted with an orange snake with pink spots! I've got a picture coming later for that one....our DD took it with her camera, but her computer is giving her fits. When I get it, I'll post it!

Anyway, we had a great time at the hoop-dee-doo review! It was more special with him. We also played superman most of the weekend. He wore the superman pj's but I got to wear the cape! After all.....Nana's can't fly without their capes!

Tom, DD & DSIL spent most of their time just shaking their heads!

Hope ya'll are doing well. Sorry I've been absent - it's been tremendously busy at work....no time to even lurk. We're 4 people short (still) and looks like we will be for a couple more weeks. This weekend, we were completely off-line. I'll try to catch up and keep posting!

I don't/won't eat chick peas either.....

they taste like Alpo smells....IMHO.....

Obviously, you've not had Chick pea & leek soup with fresh parmigano reggiano on top and a drizzle of peppered truffle oil!

One of the BEST soups I've ever made!

ETA: Right after I posted this, I continued catching up.....and found a few posts later that none of ya'll like parmesan, either! Sorry...this soup probably sounds icky to you, but I really liked it!

RonnieJo - Hope you stick around with us! I would LOVE to see pics of the Roy Suite! My dream (and I mean *DREAM*) cruise (hopefully for my 50th) will be on a WDW Cruise Line at the Walt Disney Suite! Funeral director, huh? Does everyone ask you about the show "Six Feet Under"?

Yeah, funeral director! We have watched "Six Feet Under" from the beginning, but these last 2 seasons have been WAY weird! (and no our life is nuthin like that! )

The Roy O Disney suite is SO beautiful!!! Can't wait to compare The Walt Disney suite and see which one I like better (we're already taking ressies from the disers' on out CB thread...on who gets to sleep under the piano after our party )

RonnieJo - I completely agree with you about Six Feet Under. The show is nothing like the first season. In my opinion, they've gotten away from what made it such a hit!

Have you ever watched the show "Family Plots" on A & E? They are so funny and disfunctional...it's amazing! One of our sales reps know them and says that half of them didn't work there until they wanted to make a show about them. They had actually considered our funeral home for awhile, but I guess we were too "normal" for them (not enough drama in our lives )
