Hello everyone

I had a busy shopping day today...
Mike and I went for the connectors and vents for the new washer and dryer....
I also had to replace the hood light for my new fish tank...But its a hex tank...so no one had one on hand ...Ill have to order one and wait until they come in....

While we were in homedepot tho ...I found a nice floresent desk task light that telescopes out...it was only $11...it fits great ...so Im not in such a hurry to replace the other one....I will replace it, Just wont worry about it too much
AND.....DU!...All my new fish are doing well....and they all are looking very happy in there new home...SO THERE!.... LOL

We also picked out knobs for my cabinets, but when we got them home ...didnt like the way they looked, so we'll take them back and pick out new ones....

AND....Albert got groomed today too....Now hes all spiffy again!

That it , oh and we went out to lunch ... ..Just to IHOP, but hey going out is not having to cook anything or clean a mess at home

Cally Im sorry Dev, wasnt feeling well, so glad hes better.....Must have been the good food at BK......Nothing like junkfood to make a kid feel better...LOL

Did you ever decide if you were going to wash Nala?....
I alway used the heavy duty rubber gloves when I had to wash any cats , when I worked at Project Paws....I was the meds person, so I had to wash my share of kittys...
They can be a real handful sometimes...I KNOW....
BUT the sad ones were the ones that didnt fight it at all, because they were too sick or their spirit was broken ..alot of those didnt have happy endings....Although we never took them to the vet to put them down unless there was nothing to be done for them....and I didnt have anything to do with that part of the decision....Thank god...I was just to try to make them better...

I hope better.... The couch looks really nice.....Now I wouldnt have a problem with older people eating on a new couch, BUT there is NO way any little ones would be eating on a new couch...I KNOW Not only would they be wearing their food, but the new couch would be also.....We have a rule here no eating except in the kitchen, unless you are an adult...that goes for the car too...I have put my hand in ketchup on seats too many times...
BUT we have a TV in the kitchen so they can watch what ever is on in either room.....I think they actually prefer the kitchen anyway....

Well Im going to go spend alone time with Mike....while we can...tomorrow we will be having both my sons and all the kids over....

Betsy!! You're not around enough.

I've decided not to worry about giving Nala a bath. Her licks has a special detergent in it. Got that from my poll that I posted the other day.

We have the same policy here Betsy... no food in the livingroom unless you are an adult. Occasionally I will let the boys have popcorn/chips/snacks in the livingroom while watching tv or a movie. Sometimes drinks if the cups have lids or if it's just water I don't mind at all. My boys are really really clumsy!!

Subway is doing a bit better I think.

He is eating and drinking more now. Still sleeping a lot but seems more alert in between the sleeping.

Good Morning.....well we made it through the night - the boys started arriving at 4:30ish (after Ryan's BB game that was changed from Fri to Sat)....they had pizza & some of those other snacks...until tThe last boy arrived at 8 & then they all went down to a creek not too far to play with their 'air soft' guns...similar to paint ball but the guns shoot these little pellets (softer & bigger than BBs's) Only a couple of injuries - one boy removed his helmet & got shot in the face...boy did i give him 'what for' as he could have been hit in the eye....yikes! They are actually all asleep (who knows what time they went to bed) & i won't even think about starting to make b/fast for many more hours

DH & I had a lovely evening at home - watched the Buddy Holly story....

Rearranged the furniture in the family room yesterday. When i bought my dining set - i put our old small round one in the garage....& decided yesterday that it would fit in the area between the kitchen & family room as a kitchen table set....and it does & looks okay too...would prefer a smaller one & in light maple - but this works for now
