I was still up from the day before.... doesn't everyone have a hard time sleeping about being awake for 33+ hours

OMG....i haven't (had) to do that for a long time!!!!

You're too tired to sleep. I've had that happen to me. Maybe a nice warm bath will help. Some warm decaf tea?

I hope you are able to get some sleep soon.

you would think??? but they will be in the garage all wkend...that way we never hear them!!! so with nothing else to do...will just have a chance to clean some rooms i don't usually get to

Deborah J Wolf is the author - she also wrote (which i just finised) When I'm not Myself. This one starts out with how she is handling his 2 daughters (1 - 11 & 1 - 16 y/o) as well as life after recently losing her hubby in an auto accident....i think it will be as good as When i'm not myself...which was actually written 2nd - but that's just how DD gave them to me....

I had a hard time sleeping too but that's cause I'm stuffy (more than the medz can handle), it's cold and I gotta share my bed with two dogs and my husband...and, oh yeah, I got a cat who meows at ALLLLL times of the day and night

Got my new printer today!

Epson stylus photo printer, scanner and copier...only $150. I was trying to get one with a fax machine integrated but most who have fax numbers also have email addys~I'll scan it to em~

Congrats!! We have one with the fax but we can't use it. Don't have a home phone. I don't think we'll ever get a home phone either.

Roger had to get this one though because it's wireless. So it's very handy when we're feeling lazy.

This one fits me right now...I already sent a scanned email instead of a fax, the recipient was totally fine with it too...worse come to worse, I can open an efax account online and send from my computer anyway.

The photo quality is tops! I already printed a couple test shots, the scanning works great, the printing is perfect (it prints a 4x6 in 11 seconds). it even correct prints and crops photos and even copies directly from the memory card, print or camera...no more having to upload everything to get it printed

They're really coming out with everything these days!!

I haven't tried that on my printer yet but yes it does make things more convient.

Did you ever get that laptop you wanted?

My SIL just got a Mac. She says the only bad thing about it is it doesn't have a SD/memory card slot. She went out and bought a card reader but it still does not work because you have to format it and then it erases all the pics.

I told her to just hook her camera up directly to the pc with cables. She nearly fainted and said cables are so 2000!

She's a real gadget freak. She loves electronics and technology.

no...no laptop yet...I think I am going to go with a straight up PC replacement instead of a laptop for now...my Dell is dying...

I want a Mac laptop...hopefully when I get back into the working world I can finagle one...
