Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 3

Hiya Threadkillers!

I have been up to my Adams Apple in Alligators! I've been SO busy I haven't even had time to say hello to my buddies!

DH and I landscaped all weekend....and I've got the sunburned nose to prove it! We bought a zillion plants and we dug and dug and dug! I just HAD to have Mondo grass and it's a pain in the patootie to plant after you've put down the weed shield. The good news is it looks FAB! Grass is next. We really DID lose our entire yard from the hurricanes!

I also made a small suggestion at work that had to do with computer programming and it's bloomed and blossomed til it's a HUGE project that I've got (on top of my regular work). Well, we thought we'd have a year to implement. Do a few classes, research and THEN do the work. Nope, the big boss liked it so much he's shooting for a month! A MONTH! Yikes! I've been reading computer books non-stop since then!

So, I've got alligators lurking at my Adams Apple! Hi Robin, Cally, Betsy, Kim and all the rest....miss you all!

Hi KR - thanks for the awesome compliment to the TKers! We hope you stay....are you a former lurker? H11 - you gonna stay and visit a while? How 'bout you dawg? We're a friendly, fun, funny group!

Anyway, I'm here at the computer supposed to be doing practice forms on excel - you can see how far I've got! I'll check later and say hello some more!

OK guys: Just thought I would share this with you


Just got word from someone in my family - name I can't say - they might be reading this - when I go to S.C. on 3/23, they are giving me a family reunion "Birthday Party". (B/day was on March 1st).

AND my brother is going to buy a pig and roast it for us in his backyard. He does that all the time for his friends also.

I LIKE A GOOD PIG ROAST...............

Now that sounds like a party to me. He was going to surprise me on 3/1, but I had to cancel and could not go then - but he didn't know it at that time.

OH WELL, I can party three weeks late..

Dr. would not give me anything for my cold because of other medications I am taking - so it has to run its course.

My luck, it'll probably be something awful. I once posted on the "have you ever had a shock" thread and explained the first horrible 1/2 day at Disney, where they had a major brown out and all the rides were down and then I was pooped on by a bird. By the time the day was done, I was blowing booger bubbles I was crying so much - I'll probably get a green booger tag....

Sad, it's just sad. My poor boogers will probably amuse the tag fairy, too. However, since she's voluntarily banned herself from the threadkillers thread....we'll never know!

The trip did end up being WONDERFUL - thanks to my cutie-patootie!
