When that movie came to our local theatre ( i was a mere baby) The whole BLOCK went to see it. I remeber my Mom complaing that the charged 3.00 to see it!

My friends (the family with 13 kids) we ALWAYS talk about the time we went to see that movie! It WAS A BIG DEAL...for us Catholic school kids!!!
Gotta say it is certainly the most Beautiful filmed movie I ever saw. The scenery is BEEEEEEEEEEAUTIFUL
