I cant believe how warm it is here...we have been in the 80s since, Ive gotten home...and we are suppose to stay in the 80s until Monday, or so.... Im lovin it
Im sorry I havent had much time to post lately...
Im so busy trying to catch up on my stuff here....AND today I have to bring my car in to get fixed...and Albert has a grooming appt....
Ill try to get to the photos ...later in the day if I can get my you know what home at a reasonable time...
I have so many Im really wanting you all to see.... Wish I knew how to post videos...I have some good stuff there too!....

Hi everyone!

Gearing up for the weekend! We are having our DD, DSIL & grand children over for the weekend and the entire family is getting together Saturday after Mass....I'm thinking I'll make dessert for everyone here.

I have some AWESOME news! Our grand daughter has been to the doctor for lack of weight gain - she's not gained a single ounce in 6 months...she's 18 months old. They were thinking she may have Cystic Fibrosis or possibly Chrones disease....well, she gained an entire pound in 3 weeks! That's HUGE!

They are still going to test her (I think), but they think the results will be negative. She was not communicating that she was hungry and they've been feeding her like a Christmas Goose! The doctor thinks she'll just be a petite miss!

Gotta run - dog needs a bath (she's a stinky miss!)

Your weekend sounds like so much fun! I love getting together with family!

The high here today is going to be 89!!!!! Yuk! It's fall. The temperature is supposed to be in the 60s!!!! DD(13) has a soccer game today. The temp at game time is supposed to be about 85!​

Yes I heard from Kim yesterday.

She says that she is very, very busy. Kelly is doing tons of stuff and therefore Kim is busy taxiing her around to the various activities.

Kim also said that she has had some computer problems lately.

Actually here is a copy of the email that Kim sent to me. I'm sure that she won't mind me sharing it with all of you.

Ebay, work and Kelly keep me way busy! I am also on my 3rd puter in 3 weeks, I think. My 7yo puter fried out during a recent power surge, and the back-up I thought I had, was dead. I'm using the ki ds 3-4 yo Disney puter which keeps shutting down for no apparent reason. I just ordered a new Dell tonight, but it's gonna be a week before I get it! Always something here.

Kelly's been doing cross country since early Sept. 4 of 5 days a week, after school, she's practicing, or has a meet. She's busy so, so are we. She finishes with that Friday, but starts ice skating on Monday, for 10 weeks. And she's joining a science 'olympics' at school which requires practices now as well before the competition on 11/3. Oh, she's also joining band at school - wants to play the clarinet. Let's not forget Girl Scouts on Saturdays, that starts 10/13. She sings Sunday at school/church at 8:15, and we have Cubs tickets for that afternoon.

I'm crazy busy, but I wanted to post. The family is still getting together, but we're circling our wagons around Dad...we found out yesterday that he has cancer. The good news is it's very curable and his prognosis is good. The bad news is he's 76, has a pace maker & bad heart - so it will be a tough row to hoe. If I'm off line for any length of time it'll be for doctor's visits, cooking for them (he's requested home made mac & cheese) and doing what we can.

Sorry DU, I just realized I never answered your photo equipment question...I am currently using a Nikon D-50. There is a newer version out, a D80. It's a digital SLR camera. In english that means it works as good as a manual but has digital features like photo viewing and uses no film.

I really like it. It's alot better than my old Olympus point & shoot.

I've been quiet the last two days becuase I got laid off from the office I worked for. My paycheck didn't come from the skatepark, it still came out of the office I worked for. My health benefits are going to continue thru the end of the year and I am getting a severence check, but that's it.

The owner of the skatepark has already told me he cannot afford my salary. I gave him a list of what I expect if I am to continue to work for him...

I started with, I want shorter hours. If I am to take a pay cut I expect my hours to be cut. I also told him I expect him to pick up my medical starting at the beginning of next year.

I have no idea if he even wants me back...I am more bothered by the fact that he hasn't given me a yes or no yet.

I already put in for unemployment and will be going back to school if I don't go back to the skatepark.

I am ok with this...a little moody because of how it happened, but fine.

My son had another car accident last night...this made me realize how unimportant a job is compared to my family. Dumdum tried to take my new geo out. It is a manual transmission car and was in gear when he started it. It drug him all the way up my driveway and had him pinned under it by the time I got outside. He has some really bad bruises and cuts, but luckily that is all. The stairs stopped the car, I got in it and took it out of gear while my FIL and neighbor moved the car off of him.

Today was John's birthday. He and I spent the day together. We went to the Cranberry Festival and grocery shopping then went to Mastori's to pick up his birthday cake. We just finished dinner so I thought I'd check in with y'all while I had a few minutes.

I am fine. My son is fine. I wish you guys all hugs, prayers and pixie dust that you all are fine...
