Tivo'd High School Musical today & HSM2 last night....so started watching them....but DH wanted to go to dinner - (i won't argue - no cooking for me if i DON"T haven to )
so hopefully will finish watching them later or tomorrow - 9ers & raiders are playing tonite.....

I've never seen the first "High School Musical"...didn't see the second one, either.

I hope everyone is having a great day. We've been well here. DH goes back to work for the first time tomorrow - half day and then we'll see for the rest of the week. I think he's ready to go back full time.

I am taking a DIS break, still preparing for vacation...

I did laundry for two days and still have more down there. Today, I'm taking the rest to the laundr-o-mat. I finished fixing the surfboard, got my son his bike rack, need to pull down some suitcases and finish some housecleaning before I go back to work tomorrow...I cannot WAIT til saturday

Busy weekend!

Went to our neighborhood fest 4 times Fri and Sat. Spent alot of money and ate way too much. Too wet to go today. Zoe was very sad so Amy took her to go see Hairspray. So I went to Menards and bought a fireplace,installed,tiled,wired and got it working. Will grout it later. It came with a remote, thought that was cool, it can go with the ten others that we have.

Now to go look for a flat screen!

From the moment I woke up to now.....had company come & go ALL DAY...one group came, then a nother showed up. All unexpected

Makenzie was here, and everytime you walk into the room where she is (crawling around like crazy) she waves her hand and says "HI"!!!!

Even if you just saw here 30 seconds ago....she says HI....I will call her Dory!

I have a sink full of dishe4s to do and a hot bubble bath callnig my name both kids are out, hubby is sleeping on the couch and FIL is sleeping in his chair, they are both "watching tv."

TW - I did my laundry today, too! It always feels good when you're done...doesn't it?

Rory - it sounds like the basement is going to be fabulous! DH and I bought a flatscreen for our bedroom a year ago and it's the best.

DU - Makenzie sounds adorable! I hope your week slows down and you get the opportunity to get the things done you want to do.

I forgot to tell ya'll. Yesterday - I got a new car. We had a 2006 Honda Element - a fun, fun, FUN car...but I was ready for a wee bit more luxury.

We picked up a 2008 Acura (literally just off the truck, they had to remove all the plastic on the hood, doors, etc). It has one of those on-board navagation systems. They're really neat - except this one also helps run the car...A/C, phone, audio system, lights...everything! So you really need to learn how to use it. It's a 4-door pearl white with parchment leather. Smells like new car here in Florida!

Same here! Mom & Pop INSISTED on watching Their shows......I am on the couch typing...and they are both OUT...Yet they NEVER sleep!

Evening TK'ers.....well DH's family just left....had a nice BBQ / BD celebration...everything was very yummy - I'm so FULL - don't know how i can go to bed this full....we had BD cake & ice cream just an hour & 1/2 ago....

Must have been "laundry day everywhere...I did all of ours...AND even sorted DS' closet - grouped his school uniforms & athletic wear on one side & all his 'street' clothes on the other & sorted all by style & color...I can't live without mine sorted by color....i don't know how he found anything!

Hi Ann- you will LOVE that Acura - that's what i had before getting my Lexus earlier this month. The Acura was / IS a great car....we gave ours to DS.

Night all - guess i better try to be in bed by 9 ...maybe i'll sleep in tomorrow....till 3 am
