Who feels like a Thread-Killer? Part 2

WOW...you DOOOO have some Mickey stuff!!!! Mine is all in my office...and it's getting a little overrun...but I think you'd have me beat!!!

Well...it starts off with lunch on Thursday with friends....lunch Friday with the office...then we're off to Santana Row in San Jose Friday night where we'll stay at the Hotel Valencia....have dinner at Consuelo's Mexican Bistro...and then make the rounds at the different bars in Santana Row. I'm not a BIG drinker...so shouldn't take me long - anyway that is the girls night out.....we come home Sat a.m. & i have DS' homecoming game to attend that day, and later that night, we're attending a wedding reception for a good friend's daughter. Sunday - we'll be celebrating with the family. I had tried to find a restaurant in the Monterey / Carmel area - but my favs weren't that conducive to kids....so we'll be going to one of three i chose over in the Aptos / Santa Cruz area. Is that enough eating or what????
YIKES...i'll need to hit the gym for 2 hours a day for awhile after this weekend! But it will all be FUN!!!!

We don't have anything planned for the weekend. Roger's Vsec is this Friday (remember it got rescheduled). So we'll have a laid back weekend and I plan to keep on studying until I feel comfortable to take my test!

The first time we took LizzY and Winnie to WDW, LizzY was 3 and WInnie was 17 months old. Everytime Winnie saw Mickey (and I mean every time!!!) she would start bouncing in her stroller yelling "ICKEY, ICKEY, ICKEY!!!!!" We'd all look all over for Mickey and find she was pointing to someone's shopping bag! ( Ya think we'd have learned after the first 50,000 times she shouted Ickey!) Do you realize how many times you can find Mickey's image in WDW?

When Mickeys Clubhouse is on...she just watches it completely & dances to it!

Jan is pretty soon, I have two meetings I'd have to go to to get the state to pay for the classes. If the Creative Memories works out and I manage to get in to MEI Travel I think I'll be able to sustain on those for a while. I also applied to a Real Estate company, I can at least talk to them and get a feel if I am interested in going in that direction. My thinking is that a realtor can work anywhere...if John and me ever decide to uproot I can always find a job.

I made a scrapbook, sort of, in my Photopass account today!

It's not cheap. I really wanted ALL of the photos they took in NYC WOD of us. This was the cheapest method...

5x7's were $13 a piece, there are 20 photos
the book that will cost me $70.
The cd wasn't even considered, that would've cost me over $120.

I've been dreaming of getting a couples massage booked for DH and me!

The couples massage on the Magic is absolutely on my list~

I've also noticed my Mickey gaga-ness is getting outta control

We now have towels, washcloths, photos, statues, silverware, napkin holders, magnets, toys, cups, purses, clothing, bedding, posters, etc, on display or in use in my house absolutely every day...I Love me some Mickey~

What are your big plans for this weekend Brenda?

I was a part time TA yeeeeeeeeeears ago. Great perks.....BUT Thats it! Pay is less than slavery!

He got a fever the night before his scheduled appt in Sept so they had to postpone it and the soonest they could get him back in is this Friday...

I hope he doesn't get a fever again.

how do you look for airfare?

I use travelzoo to find my airfares and go directly to the carrier's websites to buy-you save a couple bucks that way.

after searching yahoo's travelzoo I always try Southwest and Airtran's websites~

The prize is a trip to San Francisco. Good excuse to make a trip to Disneyland while we're in Cali

Morning everyone, not good morning but it is morning (for about 20 more minutes according to my clock)

I'm not sure what is going on with my tooth? I think it is my tooth causing the problem and not my sinuses but I'm not totally sure of anything at the moment.

It started very quickly with pain in my cheekbone, which is still there but quite muted now. Now it hurts when the tooth touches anything else, even when I talk. (Liz says SHUT UP then ) Hey at least I can still "talk" to you guys

Called the dentist's office and have to go for an xray tomorrow to see if they can see what might be causing the trouble.

I went to the doctor's yesterday for results from blood work and found out that I have elevated liver enzymes I have been off all of my cholesterol lowering drugs, vitamins etc for a month and my liver enzymes have gone higher than they were a month ago. I'm trying to stay away from pain killers too, not easy to do with a toothache

She's not sure what is causing it, so I have an appointment for an abdomen ultrasound.......... Dec 18 Hopefully I don't have some quickly progressing fatal disease

Also, yesterday one of Rick's cousins died. She was 62 but had been battling with cancer for the past 13/14 years. The thing is that you can run from cancer but it always finds you in the end it seems. She fought the good fight and got many more good times in her life, travelled a ton, got to see her grandchildren etc. We really did not expect her to see the changing of the century.

I think her funeral will be on Saturday. Saturday is our 28th anniversary, not a good way to spend the day.

Rick and I were thinking we should plan a quick getaway to Vegas for the weekend This will not be an easy funeral to attend.

Sooooo, enough of my doom and gloom, how is everybody elses day going
