Well I went to brush my teeth and found a minor flood in the bathroom, leaking from the laundry room. It was coming from the downspout where the washer empties and also the discharge hose from the air conditioner. I think I have solved the problem now and mopped up all of the water.

I too must be off.

Listen all you smarty pants with your large coloured letters. Tomorrow I will perfect that skill and then I will show you that I too can do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I think I have fixed the water problem Brer_Papa and I have no need for the boat right now. The washing machine hose and the air conditioner drain pipe go into a Y shaped pipe and have been in there for many, many years. I don't know why all of a sudden it has decided to over flow. But I put the washer hose into the laundry tub for now till I figure out what the problem is.

Wow, computer smart and I can fix leaks too!!! I must be some sort of "wonder woman"

Here is the link to a picture of the car that won this year's Pebble Beach, Concourse d'Elegance. This car was restored by a company in our town. Several parts that went into this car were made by the company that my husband and I own. Pretty cool looking car.

Hi Sarah:

Since Kim told me how to make colour and size of letters work together, I will pass on her wisdom to you!!!

When you are typing a reply right about it says B I U SIZE FONT COLOR. This controls those things right. Well to the left of the it says vB Code ..... click on Enhanced Mode and it will let you do more than one of those options at a time.

When you have finished typing your words click on the red X beside Close All Tags on the right and that is it!!!!!

To make the size bigger I just changed the number after the = sign to a bigger number and that worked!!

I sure don't know what you mean about cars with small back seats

Hollyann, is having a karaoke sister's weekend, so we may not hear from her at all this weekend. Boy she will have a lot of catching up to do won't she!

My son just left with a bunch of guys to go to Toronto for the weekend for a science fiction convention. About 10 of them are going and my son is one of the drivers. He is probably also the only one who is alcohol free, so I am glad that he will be doing the driving at least for himself!! 19 is the legal drinking age here.

I am sure they will have great fun, staying at the one guys place and taking the subway to the convention. Awww, to be young again.

My daughter got a call from the riding stable where she takes lessons. They want her to go and help them tomorrow by riding on a carriage for a wedding How cool for her. We are not sure why they called her to do it. It was one of her former riding instructors and she said they asked Liz because she sits so nice and straight and they thought it would be a good experience for her. Personally I think they were just desperate and couldn't find anyone else to do it on such short notice It doesn't really matter cause she is going to do it. She will have to get dressed up in tails and a top hat. I will try to get some pictures so that I can post them tomorrow for you guys to see.

anyway...tomorrow is the last day for this fair....Sunday we have to pick up PA's crocheting....she did well here too...

14 of 18 ribbons....she's quite an accomplised crocheter....

btw....did I tell you WS and I took a trip to LilyDale NY a week ago today?

LilyDale is a Spiritualist Community....a peaceful place...

WS had been asking me to keep my schedule open for a day if I could...and so I did...

we both had "readings"...interesting....

aaaah...a sci-fi convention...i could get into that! X-Files is my all time favorite show in the history of television...I bet he and his pals will have a ball...and see some...hmmm...fun people...sme of the people at those events get a bit...extreme...

a few years back...me and youngest DS went to a local facility....there was a guy giving a presentation on UFO sightings and the like..

it was go-o-o-o-o-d....

and then after the presentation to the public...there was a class ...with a fee...

we were taught what to do in the event of a UFO sighting or alien contact..

plus ...we were taught of certain signs to be aware of for spotting "those that may be amongst us" from other worlds...

I probably shouldn't say too much about these detection signs...but..i will give you an example of a certain amulet you can use....just in case you think there may be an alien about...

seems to be an amulet that works well....keeps those that are suspected friendly.....

I personally have no plans for the weekend other than driving my daughter to "catch" her horse and carriage! Everybody else will be out doing something fun and I will be sitting home by myself Oh, well, it will be peaceful then!!
