It's been "missing" since Monday....I know I had it with me when I packed the RV for our picnic on beautiful Presque Isle...

somewhere..somehow..it's disappeared...

I posted pics of it on telephone poles for blocks in every direction...

I contacted the local milk company, hoping they would put its picture on their cartons...they laugh and hang up...

i considered a conspiracy was a-happenin'...everyone declares innocence...but not one word of sympathy from anybody......

I considered a reverse ransom...return the fiddle or bag-pipes are next...but had a second thought that listening to me play the bag-pipes is just punishment for the guilty...

it'll turn up....or...i could use the reward money and get another...

Here I've been all sad all week beacuase my fiddle is ..."missing"...

I'm sure you have all seen I've been a bit "down"...

I've had my signature changed to kind of put an "APB" on the...."missing"... fiddle...and the signatures went down...

today's post...where I said I was between projects...checking the telephone pole pictures and checking the grocery store buletin boards this morning....

then getting ready to do battle with the milk company this afternoon...

when just a minute or 3 ago...i thought about the dude with no bones in his toes...

YIKES!

I wouldn't like that...

can you imagine?

stepping to the end...and your boneless toes sag down over the edge...

Robin, DS was actually a bit miffed at about mid-day when I informed him that my plans had changed, and he could've kept his Saturday schedule. He still managed to stay out for 12 hours today tho, so go figure. Now all we have tomorrow is Market Day pick-up, followed with that BD party.

Speaking of bagpipes, this weekend is the Highland Games here in town. So I guess if I want to hear bagpipes, I just have to mosey on downtown and check out the Games. Bagpipe blowing, caber tossing, Highland dancing, lots of things to look at and listen to

My daughter may be a moody, not so nice teenager at times, but she does bring a lot of sunshine into my life anyways.

Kim, your son was probably just a bit disappointed that his services were no longer needed as a chauffeur. I am sure that he was looking forward to it.

Probably made him feel special and important to be able to help out like that. Oh well, maybe you will need his help next weekend!

Kim, I don't think I said it before, but good luck with your dental appointment. When I had my wisdom teeth removed, the doc gave me laughing gas, put music in the headset and I fell asleep! They had to put a mouth block in to keep my mouth open! You'll be fine!

Cruisin, are ya goin' to the Highland Games? I've heard they're lots of fun - never been to them myself.

As usual, I'm having a quiet day (ahhh...retirement!). Hubby and I walked our usual 3 miles, did a little shopping, had lunch and ready for my nap! Take care ya'll!

I have an Oral surgeon appointment in Aug...it was supposed to be end of July but I'm going on vacation.
Guess what my OS's name is...........DR. T. DISNEY.....really, I'm not fibbing....I guess my dentist (whose name is Jackie Chang...really, not fibbing!) figured I would pay more money if it had the "Disney" name on it.

No I am not going to the Highland Games this year. I have gone many times in the past though. It is kind of an interesting event. All the dancers and the bagpipes. They usually do a mass bagpipe band with over 200 bagpipes. Wow, that is something to see and hear!!!
