Good morning, everyone!

I had a good day yesterday - did a half-hour of Tae Bo, followed by 20 minutes of yoga. It was my first time for yoga, and it was more difficult than I thought it would be! Didn't make it all the way through the tape, but I will!!! Balance and flexibility are a couple of things I could use more of...

I noticed some other folks trying new activities, too! TigH worked on "guy pushups"; Dizzy-Disney4 ordered a new Pilates for Dummies dvd (Hey, that sounds about my speed:p ); MBFergie added walking/jogging IN THE FLORIDA HEAT to her routine; Mom2Princesses did her first Curves workout; and on another thread, Fantasia Sam tried a new water workout!

Wow! What a super-duper bunch! :Pinkbounc I'm so excited to be part of this, I can hardly wait to log on in the morning. Thank you all for being such an inspiration to a new exerciser like myself. You're the best!

So, what did everyone do yesterday? Post it here! And even if you didn't do anything, but you want to start today, tomorrow or next week, write it down! Speaking from experience, seeing it in writing makes it harder to ignore :o

Have a super day,

Daisy;)

I did about 15 mins on the ellipitcal....however...I accidently hit the reset button...SO I started over and made it 30mins. I am not sure exactly how long I went the first time though.!!

It was anywhere from 30-45 mins.

I think its weird....now that I exercise...I seem to be more MOTIVATED to do other things. I wash and clean out my van yesterday. (and if you saw the inside of my van...you would know that was a workout..lol.) I am counting that a some Physical labor too!!!

I did again!! I know one mike on WATP and one onthe treadmill doesn't seem like much - but it's huge for me since I've had this foot problem since April (right about the time I joined WISH! Yesterday I also walked a mile into town w/ my best friend!

I got my 40 minutes on the treadmill but took a break from the crunches, lunges and squats yesterday. I will be working on those today. Have a great day everyone.

I walked/ran 3.5 miles in 40 minutes last night. Must have been about 95 degrees outside. Probably too hot, because when I stopped, I thought I was gonna puke!! But what can you do?? I sit in a cubicle all day in freezing AC. All I can think about is getting outside when I get home.

(can you tell I'm proud of my self)
I made the 2 mile WATP (for the abs) with the resistance belt and then I started the 3 mile with out the belt thinking I'd only to part of it (had to get the boys to the pool for swim) but I made the WHOLE 3 MILES:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc . Then I have to be in the pool for Erics tiny tots clas and swim with him or hold him if he's being lazy we only swam 2 widths of the pool last night but we sing and play and jump around. Man was I tired. My head hit that pillow at 9:30 and I slept through 15 minutes of the alarm before I heard it. Oh well . I'm tring to figure out if I'll have time for both today. hope so

Smiling ear to ear with another day of success:

:D :D :D :D :D

What a great bunch of motivated people!! Woo-hoo!!!

Yesterday I mowed the back yard, went rollerblading for an hour and five minutes and used my weights to work my back and biceps. Oh and I did crunches too (love this pilates break!)

Keep up the great work, everyone! Daisy, glad you tried that yoga! You will get used to it eventually. The first yoga tape I did was Kathy Smith's intro tape. It was so relaxing, I loved it. I felt so peaceful and relaxed at the end of the tape! I think I need to dust that off soon!

Checking in with my WATP tape. I only did 2 miles yesterday since we had a day packed with errands. I am ready for all of the walking WDW requires! ;) :teeth:

Yesterday I did a Crunch - Yoga Workout for 40 mins. I was really sweating from yoga! ;)

Two days ago - the day I couldn't remember - I jogged. I always jog on Tues, why couldn't I remember that! No TigH, it wasn't rummy cokes! I think it was garagesaleitis! So on that day I jogged and did 40 mins of sculpting yoga.

Daisy - hang in there with yoga. It took me a few weeks and I have only been doing it 1-2 times a week since about January. I love it now! I can really tell a difference in my balance/flexibility and I do believe it will sculpt and tone once you get to the point where you can really concentrate on the poses and the muscles it is working!

I worked out with the Power 90 cardio tape level 3-4 and also did the ab cruncher tape that goes along with it. I see everyone posting about pilates, just how good is this workout? I am always looking for new kinds of workouts so I won't get bored. So if anyone out there has any advice please pass it on. And great job to all of those who worked out yesterday, if you are like me, the summer heat makes me very lazy..rather sit around and watch t.v.!

I did legs yesterday, and 45 min on the elliptical today:bounce:

Yesterday I walked for about 50 min. :sunny:

Pushed myself to set a faster pace than I usually do. DH even commented on it, he ususally has to slow his pace down so I can keep up, but he didn't have to slow down last night! I really felt it when we got back into the house, but I guess that's a good thing! :teeth:

Only did half of the RS Broadway tape (can't make this a habit) but did do my second Curves workout.

It was kind of (well really!) funny. I get to Curves and all the machines are stuck together in the middle of the room, and all the steps, platforms are scattered along the outskirts. I thought that maybe the machines were being cleaned or something. The really nice Curves ladies informed me it was "Wacky Wednesday!" We also had to go backwards. I just laughed! It seemed like a trick on the newbie! Not only was I supposed to remember how to use the machines, I also had to remember which way to change stations etc....it was funny! Between huffing and puffing, we were all laughing a lot.

I am thinking of dusting off the Tae Bo again--I get so frustrated with it, but I got the tapes so I should probably be using them!
