Good morning, everybody!

Well, another super day! I'm sporting my new exercise clippie, courtesy of Rajah - thank you so much for doing that, Tammi!!! So cool!!!

Anyway, did the ol' four-mile WATP yesterday. It felt great, but my back is a little sore this morning. I think I slept wrong - so, stretching for me today! Maybe the kinks will work out through the morning and I can do a bit more...

Can someone help out disneyeveryyear with a question? She wants to know how long other folks stayed at one mile on WATP before moving up to two. I don't know - it was so fun when I started, I sort of jumped right in :Pinkbounc Maybe someone else here has taken a more progressive approach? Moderation hasn't always been my strong suit:rolleyes:

So, great work to everyone! Post what you did for yesterday, and KEEP IT UP TODAY! You WISHers are awesome!!!

Daisy;)

WHAT A CUTE CLIPPIE!!!! I might have to get me one of those! Wow, Rajah, great job! :) Minnie looks so cute with her little hand weights! hee hee!

I DID IT! I DID MY 20 MANLY-MAN (to quote PolyPal) PUSH UPS!!!!

I did two sets of 10, so that's 20! I don't care if it wasn't 20 in a row, that is fine with me!!! WOO-HOO! So now that will be a part of my regular push up routine and I will eventually do 3 sets of 10 and then work up to more! (By the way, I had previously set a goal to do 20 manly-man push ups by the end of the year, so to do this before the end of July just floors me!) ;)

I also did the bent knee push ups, worked my tris and shoulders with my hand weights, did crunches between weight sets (yippee, made my workout go by faster!) and then went rollerblading. ALSO, Jen and I went on our 3.5 mile power walk last night. It was a great exercising day for me!

Good for you for doing your exercise, love the new clippie. Rajah did a great job! After a month vacation I started back on my normal routine yesterday. 45 minutes of cardio and 45 minutes of weight lifting, haven't lifted in a while so I am a wee bit sore this morning, but it is a good feeling!

I don't have an answer for you on the WATP tapes as I am not familiar with them, but I just know someone here will know.

Karen, you go girl!! In my opinion manly man push ups are soooo hard, I can't even do one. Congrats to you!!!

I did my normal 50 min on the treadmill yesterday. The new exercise clippie is wonderful, I'll have to get mine after I make my goal of 5 days out of 7 exercising. I also don't know anything about the WATP information. Karen, WOW, 20 manly-man pushups is awesome. I'm still working on the bent knee ones. Sending everyone PD for a great OP day with eating and exercising.:D

I did my 1/2 hr at Curves yesterday.

Curves for me and 1 mile WATP (that doesn't include the .25 mile warm up and .25 mile cool down....you aren't *supposed* to add those, are you?)

TigH, you wear me out reading your posts! I'm pretty sure if I tried what you do I'd be taken away by squad!

I did 2 mile WATP and arms.
I posted a reply on yesterday's exercise check about moving up in the WATP tapes.

Yep, I needed to do some stress release so I:
~walked 2 miles on road
~did the (2 mile) Walk Strong WATP tape
~worked out at Curves for 30 minutes.

I feel good, and I'm off for my outside walk right now! :teeth:

I did the 3 mile WATP, 30 mins pilates and 10 mins yoga

I love that minnie clippie!!! Can I have one? When did the time frame start, I have been faithfully exercising for awhile now, is it just meeting on our personal goal for each week?

vacuumed and washed my floors for 3hrs yesterday morning
walked 15x's around the gerbil track last night after I went grocery shopping

I am so proud of myself!
I did the 20-minute Pilates followed by the 2-mile WATP!!! I haven't been able to get to anything today, but WILL later!

You're welcome. :) My thought is that it does apply to your plan for exercise, as long as it's at least 3 times a week.

What do y'all think about it being retroactive?

As for me, I had a *great* workout experience yesterday. I was so stiff and sore and had hurt my hip bowling so didn't want to go to the Yoga class (which is good considering I had to work until class was over LOL!) but went home and tried a 25 minute floor routine (since I couldn't balance on the left side because of the hurt hip). By the time I was done with the floor routine, I was able to walk across the house without much problem at all. Then I popped in the Tai Chi tape and tried out the first move (and *YES*, I want to do more with Tai Chi as well, that is so cool!) and after only 10 minutes of Tai Chi, I was able to walk up the stairs without problem. :) So all in all I got about 35-40 minutes of workout in yesterday, and today my hip is thanking me. :) I'm still a little sore today, and just a bit stiff, but not even half of what I was yesterday and in the past it's taken me twice as long to get this way. :)

I got back from vacation Sunday night, so did my workout with weights yesterday. However - I didn't do the 30 minutes on the Nordic Track that I wanted to. I also haven't been sticking to Atkins at all. At least I didn't gain weight on vacation - in spite of all the eating we did!

I'd say that it should NOT be retroactive, only because nothing else on WISH is. For example, If I lose 30 pounds and THEN join WISH, my 30 pounds is a great loss, but it won't earn me a 30 pound clippie. Only the weight you lose after joining WISH counts.
Also, when the cheat free star came out, everyone started at "0" even if they hadn't cheated in a week.

So the exercise thing, I'd say right now we all start at baseline and after we've done it a week we can go grab a Minnie.

Don't know what anyone else thinks....chime in with your ideas. :)

How about this -- we say that if you've been exercising to your plan for one week or more, you can start right away with the 1-week clippie. But you have to start with the 1-week clippie?

I did 1 mile WATP yesterday and 1.5 miles today - sticking to it ...yippeeee!!

I DID! I DID!!

It was my birthday too and I went to the gym. I went for 45 minutes on the treadmill and then two leg weight machines....

I agree that the clippie should not be retroactive, but I like the idea that if we've done it for the past week-or six months-that we can start with the 1 week one. I think that it is really cool, Tammy. Thanks!
