GREAT morning, everybody! :Pinkbounc

Thank you all for the push yesterday! I especially appreciated TigH's cheer (compliments of Bugs Bunny) and Rajah's challenge. It worked! I did three miles of WATP and I felt SO DARN GOOD after I was finished! Wow, the power of the WISH board...

So, the weekend is almost upon us - who exercised yesterday? And who's going into the weekend with an active, healthy, positive outlook on life? You, that's who!!!

Tell us all what you did yesterday, and again, thank you, thank you to everyone who gave me the little boost I needed. You're the best!!!:teeth:

Have a great day, all!

Daisy;)

Well I tried the 2 mile WATP again and this time I made it to the end. :) I was feeling quite proud of myself if I am allowed to say that. I followed it up with just 10 situps (I really didn't want to over do those to start).

I am feeling good and I actually wasn't dreading the exercise last night so I think I am on my way to making this a habit. :)

Thanks for all of the encouragement. :)

Congrats to everyone who did something yesterday! I got home and did 5 miles (30.34) on the exercise bike whilst watching The Simpsons!

I used to do 15 miles when I was at my fittest but I thought it best to start of slow again!

Wont be doing any exercise tonight as I am out for dinner with a friend, but have high opes for the weekend. Planning to use the step machine all 3 days (long weekend here in the UK) and so some crunches and squats etc!

Take care

Kirsty xx

I walked a mile on the treadmill last night while watching CSI and then did the leg exercises from the evening WATP tape - I know them by heart now so I could still watch CSI while doing them.

Becka - I'm so glad to see you posting here. Keep up the great work.

I did my 1/2 hr workout at Curves!

Well, I haven't posted to the exercise threads before but hope I can keep myself motivated. Thursday I went to the gym & did 2 miles on the treadmill and 3 miles on the bike-burned lots of calories -yeah!

WATP sounds like a good program to do at home too, might look into that for days that I just cannot make it to the gym at 5:30AM!

hope everyone stays motivated and positive thru the weekend!

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who has posted to this thread and those who will post as the day goes by! Woo-hoo!!!! What an inspirational group of exercisers!!!!! Yaaaay, Daisy! You did it!!!

OH MY GOSH I am so happy! Yesterday I decided to up my manly man push ups! I did two sets of 13 and then one set of 15!!!!! I think next time I do push ups I will try for 20 in a row. If I can do 20 in a ROW that will blow me away, because it was my goal to do 20 in a row by the end of the year. Yesterday I did a total of 41 manly man push ups, which already blows my mind!!! I had SUCH A HARD TIME doing just one not so long ago, the thought of doing 20 in a row just seemed impossible, and yesterday I did so many (took a break between sets, but I still did them!) So I really think 20 in a row is possible next week. Sorry to ramble on, but it just BLOWS MY MIND what I can do now that I couldn't do before!

Also did the bent knee push ups and worked my tris and shoulders. No rollerblading as it was an "on the verge of raining" kind of day all day (Tiggers don't like to rollerblade in the rain, the streets are too slippery and Tiggers like their faces/bodies with the minimal scars they have already...) ;) BUT we did do a short power walk last night! Woo-hoo!

I'm jazzed about working out this weekend. Have my workout for today planned out, and tomorrow, and Sunday will be an off day for lifting but will still do something cardioish!

I did the pilates DVDs again yesterday. In the morning before work I did the 20 minute workout and then in the evening I did the accelerated workout. They are both a bit challenging for me still but I am finding that I can now get through them without having to take little breaks or doing modified versions of the exercises.

I am so happy that I haven't given up on the exercising because I think that is what is really toning my body. As a bonus - DH stopped and looked at me this morning when I was ready for work and made the comment "You have really lost a lot of weight and you are getting so skinny". I haven't lost a huge amount of weight but I have lost a lot in the stomach and waist area (I will swear by the pilates for the stomach toning). Anyways - it made me realize how important the exercising is and how proud I was of how I was looking!

Have a great weekend everyone and keep on exercising!
Jen

I did my The Firm CardioSculpt tape again yesterday (2 days in a row, yeah!). It runs 55 minutes and was challenging to finish, but I felt G-R-E-A-T when I was done! I feel like I'm on a roll, hee! hee! Now, If I can only do a 3rd day in a row. Wish me luck!

Good Luck everyone!

Lissa

OhioMinnie - I saw your post yesterday. Not sure if you will see this so I may send you a PM. Glad to see you, too. My son is doing awesome. He's 2 years out from his surgery and 15 mos off of chemo. He just started 2nd grade and he's lovin life. We all are. Thanks for asking! Hope you and your girls are doing great, too.

ME ME ME
28x's around the gerbil track - came in cos the street lights came on
and I did 10 before my shower this morn

I just jogged 1 mile yesterday and then i did 75 crunches last night.

I did all 5 excercises with the thigh sizer 20 each except the thigh which was 80. I also did 1 mile WATP and then walked a mile through town!!!!!! Yipppiiiieeee

I did the 2 mile WATP and then mowed our lawn (we don't have a self-propelled lawn mower...WAAAH!) and then I cleaned at least half of the garage out so we could start to move around in there! (We moved in April into our new house, you would think I would get off my butt and upack! ) I finally feel like I have the energy to DO this stuff! :bounce:

Becka: WAY TO GO finishing the 2 mile!!! I knew you could do it!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

TigH: AWESOME!!! Those manly man pushups are NOT easy!!! You must feel very proud!!!

Great job everyone who moved their bodies yesterday, you're getting healthier and stronger! :)

Karen :smooth:

Yup, thanks to the challenge, I made it. :) I'm not sure I would have if it hadn't been for the push from my PM buddy and the challenge from Daisy, but I did a full 45 minutes of Tai Chi, focusing this time on the transitional moves that were giving me some difficulty. :)

I did a 40 minute walk. It's getting a little easier to get up earlier in the morning!

This morning was harder, because I stayed up late to watch The Amazing Race (slightly tape delayed). But I did it! Another 40 minutes this morning.

Saturday I'm going to Curves, and Sunday my DH and I are taking a 6.5 mile bike ride. Let's keep moving!

I did! It was 20 minutes of Winsor Pilates in the morning and then in the evening 50 minutes of TM walking at 3-3.5 mph for a 2.75 mile walk.
Lookit me! I'm doing it!

I did my 2 mile WATP tape. I was off for 4 days while we went to the Ozarks, but was still able to do all (with weights).

Congratulations everyone on the great job you are doing. I am uncertain what to do with my clippie since I missed 4 days last week (my week starts on Thursday). Do I just pick up my one month at the end of this next week? I had planned to miss those days and hadn't missed a day in 3 weeks before.

Any ideas?

Me, me, me!! I did!!!Broke the 200 crunch barrier and managed 210 last night, also did a load of bum, inner thigh and arm exercises.

Just went out and bought a punch bag and boxing gloves as well so I can practice my kick-boxing in the privacy of my own home - well at least until I start College and get to use the cheap gym there.

OK, yesterday, let's see. . .

I walked the dog twice--he's a happy pup when I'm trying to be healthy!:) I rode my bike around the neighborhood for 30 minutes--I think my neighbors must think I'm on patrol or something--and I walked 2.5 miles (40 min.) with my WW tape on the treadmill. I also signed up for my first official walk--the Joint Jaunt at a local hospital. (The walk is to draw attention to joint replacement services there.)

Oh, yeah, Oh yeah, feelin' good, feelin' good:p
