Who enjoys going in February?

My dh and I are planning a trip for 2020, we were recently thinking march now considering February. I'm afraid that the weather will be iffy. We want to be able to enjoy the warmth as we're coming from Rhode Island. We are not planning President's week it would be more early Feb. What's your take on crowds, weather, etc... Thanks so much

Went one year and don't plan to go that time again - luck of the draw? Maybe, but it was cold, windy and wet. No, thank you!

We have gone in Feb only one (2008) and it was great. In the evenings it got a little chilly but during the day it was short sleeve weather. I have mentioned this before but it is how you are raised. When we got there the locals were dressed like it was high winter. We were in short sleeves and when we checked in a pair of teens walked past us in bikini's while the girl who checked us in had a heave coat on. Also the lack of crowds at the time was incredible. In about 5 hours we walked thru Magic Kingdom and rode anything we wanted. We got to ride several rides 2 or 3 times each.

Yes, crowds weren't as bad then and there were still slow times, no more, that was 12 years ago next Feb.!!! Just like first couple of weeks in Dec. 'used' to be slow times!

We've also been in February and it was a great trip, crowds were manageable, weather was amazing (compared to our 5 feet of snow back home).

We just went this year the last part of January/first of February. The first two days it was so cold and frankly miserable at night. Thankfully a friend had forewarned me to pack for both warm and cold weather. We have pictures on Main Street in heavy coats, scarves, toboggans and gloves. The weather was "supposed" to warm up by day three so I took the risk of wearing a t-shirt to AK. Thirty minutes in I was shelling out $50 for a hoodie because it was so cold. Lesson learned: pack a jacket in the backpack regardless in the winter. By the end of the week we were in shorts and t-shirts. The weather can be nuts that time of year. We are headed back same time next year and I'm hoping for milder weather.
