Who else loves MGM the best?

I realize that with children, MK still rules but as an adult I really LOVE MGM and I'm not sure why. The tower ride is great and is a real throwback to the classic ultra-themed disney rides. But the atmosphere, fantasmic, the Sci FI retaurant, even the Great Movie Ride. I really love being at MGM.

Secret confession: The connectivity between BWV / BCV and MGM/Epcot is the main reason I got instantly hooked on the idea of DVC. I never realized in all my visits to WDW that these resorts were right there!

Really? I thought it was OK. It seemed like we whipped right thru. Maybe we missed alot. I did love the 'Hollywood' parade though.

Not sure about the best, but walking back to BWV after Fantasmic (our favorite night show) while everyone waits for buses is great!

My wife and I always ditch the kids for one night and have a luxurious Hollywood dinner at The Brown Derby. We start with the incredible Cobb salad (chopped as fine as rice), end with grapefruit cake, and in between have whatever sounds great that night. Eventually we stroll back along the canal to BCV. It's our "WDW date."

But Fantasmic is another story....

Saw it once with husband. Neither of us enjoyed it at all. Returned this past Sept. With sister and cousin, I figured I would give it another try.
Well I had been sick all day, felt better and went to MGM. As Fantasmic was performing, I started with the fever and feeling real bad. So I left early. Now I not only dislike Fantasmic, I will always remember how bad I felt while watching it! For me, it will be "just say NO to Fantasmic"

But I am glad you love it!

I too like the Studios very much. That's because I enjoy the shows. Last time I counted there were four rides and ten shows at the Studios. For those who love rides over shows, this park would not be their favorite. And I really like the Brown Derby, but can not stand the Si-Fi place. Cold burgers and almost non existent service.

This has always been our family favorite. We devote a full day to this one and go back again!! Love Rockin Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Star Tours, Sci-Fi, Muppet 3D, etc. etc. Now with the beautiful christmas lights during the holidays - WOW! Of course, our DS's are older and also love Epcot alot. We stroll thru MK pretty fast but I have to get my fix of standing on Main Street looking at the castle - priceless!

I love MGM, too! My favorites are Tower of Terror and Fantasmic. Good old fashion Disney magic without the crowds!

I would love to stay at BCV and walk home after Fantasmic! Someday.

While I like the Brown Derby, Fantasmic, and a couple of the rides, I'd say MGM is the LEAST favorite park for me. We rapidly run out of things we'd like to do there.

I also love MGM RRC TOT and SCI FI are my favs, but I am slowly turning into a AK fan I really like that park it grows on me more and more everytime I go.
