Who else is watching 24??? (Spoilers possible. Proceed with caution)

I really love 24. but I have to say last night's episode was somewhat predictable. With three hours to go, it was too soon to off the President. And you just knew Miles was going to do something, since he is cut from the same weasal cloth that the President is cut from. Of course he aligns himself with the President, since he cannot fathom anyone bringing him down.

As far as a copy of the tape foes, if Jack had the foresight to ****y trap that tape he gave the German agent early on, you would think he could do something to secure this tape.

I'm sick of this President. I was yelling, "Do it! No! Don't answer it!" But, noooo.

Not me... I wanted him to stay alive so they can bring him down in the public eye for the traitor he is and have him suffer through the condemnation and humility he would receive; I wanted to see him get what he deserves.

Just a few thoughts about the tape:

1) Why wouldn't he have played the tape over the phone to CTU while on the airplane so they could hear it?

2) I'm sure Jack has to have something in his man bag that would at least make another copy...Lord knows he has everything else in that bag...

3) WHy wouldn't he play the tape as soon as he arrived at CTU so everyone could hear it right away?

4) Why leave Chloe alone with the tape? Would you have it under complete guard?

I guess there would be a show if any of those things were done...
During last nights show i just kept thinking "play the tape! Play the damn tape! " If it was me, i wouldn't be able to play the tape fast enough...Here's me "LISTEN TO THIS!" "Here, Listen to this" To the next person " You gotta hear this!!"

Thats too funny! I was thinking the same thing! Jack has become the new MacGyver with all the gadgets he pulls out of his bag. If he WAS MacGyver, he would have rigged a tape recorder out of a rubber band and paper clips and made a copy of the stupid tape already!

Maybe Jack still has the tape and the other one is a decoy to see who is helping the president within CTU - he uses a fake to draw them out.

Maybe. Because, seriously, everyone is going to know now that Miles fooled with the tape. So he's going to be in trouble no matter what. It just seems so odd that they would just leave the tape there with Chloe by herself.

LOL, I actually equated his man purse to Mary Poppins last night. No matter how much stuff he pulls out of it, it's still always full or more stuff!

And I thought it was so stupid that he didn't play the tape for any witnesses first, and that they left the tape with Chloe and no guards. Dumb!!!

Anyone else think the show is slipping this year?

This season is not my favorite season but I still enjoy watching it. I still say it is one of the best shows on TV and very underated!! I love it !

i love this show but last made me so made
if the tape is really gone and they have to prove this another way then im sorry but 3 weeks were a waste cuz of what miles did in 5 seconds
they tape everything in those rooms
they should have him on tape doing that
and karen is an idiot for telling him

ITA with everything you said here!! I was screaming at the TV---play the dang tape for Curtis, play the dang tape for Chloe, play the dang tape for SOMEONE!!!!!

Last night's episode was particularly irratating to me. It made absolutely no sense that that recording would have been handled that way. I would have thought it would have been guarded every second once it reached CTU.

Also, does anyone else think that Graham looks like a grown up Opie Taylor

Great minds think alike!! I haven't seen the Mastercard commercial but thought the Simpsons epsiode with MacGyver was hysterical. Marges sisters kidnap Richard Dean Anderson from a Stargate SG-1 convention and have a little "MacGyver" convention of their own!
