I'm patiently waiting for Sept 24-30th. I'm ready to leave on our WDW trip next week and don't want to dish out more money for airfare at this moment. Hopefully they'll have more $49 fares so between the fare and my credit I would only have to pay about $250 for four roundtrip!! I LUV SWA!!
Could everyone PM me if SWA dates open up... then I can update this post (and Change the title so email notifcations will show if the fares are out....)
I will also keep updating for the whole months of Sept and Oct for eveyone on this thread.
I got 3 tickets out of Boston on Song for $74 RT. Non-stop and they had lots of flight options. The tickets are for Oct 2-7th.. Right now the earliest flight is 8:30 AM and it is $109 but to arrive in Orlando at 2 PM is still $74
i'll post when it comes available.
think we will have to wait awhile though as sept 12 is the last date available on their site to schedule up to........which does me no good........
i need sep 28 - oct 10
I have been doing some research.... The flights upto Sept 12th we released 3/22 (a Tuesday) and I am looking now for when the flights before that were released to see if there is a pattern.... LOL On another thread someone said a SW rep said the fares would be released May 4th... for Sept/Oct....
I may start a running thread of when dates open up, since I am looking for Sept, Oct and Dec fares! Maybe therre is a pattern... maybe not, it will at the very least keep my mind busy, until they open up!!!
I have diligently kept track of this since march 03 (and have some sporadic dates before that). If you really want to know, send me a pm and I will e-mail you an excel spreadsheet. It doesn't seem to cut and paste easily into these threads. Same for anyone else. While there is somewhat a pattern to it, there is, of course, is no guarantee.
Anne
P.S. If I can't figure out how to attach a file to the PM system here, then I will need your e-mail address.
We're looking for the beginning of November - 11/9. I haven't ever flown on Southwest - what's it like? I'm not sure I understand the A,B,seats...can anyone help with an explanation?

SA does not have assigned seating... they seat by first come first served... so when you check in (either online after nidnight or at the airpost) you are given a A, B, or C boarding pass..... the A group then stands in the A line (most SWA gate areas have ABC Corrals (like cattle lol) Most flights have some preboarding of wheelchairs, families with small kids and others needed assistances) the the A line board, picking any seats they want, then the B group gets let in followed by the C group, who fills in what ever seats are left.
Right there with ya! Looking for 9/23 - 10/1. First time flying commercial! Anyone know what the age limit is for preboarding with a young child? My DD is 3 and there will be 3 of us. Want to try to get on first and not be in the scuttle so to speak. Thanks! Oh and if I see the dates released, I'll post them!
