Who else is waiting for SWA late Sept/Oct flights?? OCTOBER 28TH OUT NOW

Right there with ya! Looking for 9/23 - 10/1. First time flying commercial! Anyone know what the age limit is for preboarding with a young child? My DD is 3 and there will be 3 of us. Want to try to get on first and not be in the scuttle so to speak. Thanks! Oh and if I see the dates released, I'll post them!

I believe that "techically" it's 4 yrs. and under. It seems to vary somewhat by individual experience, though. We flew SW when my youngest was 5. The girl at check-in asked me how old she was and when I said 5 she surprised me by saying we could preboard! In any case, you should be fine!

Just wanted to share that I just spoke with a SW representative and she informed me that they didn't know the exact date, but she did "know we are very close" to that date. For what its worth!

Im not worried, nor am even looking at other airline's fares... LOL I am comfortable with paying 79 each way, and I love the flight times. Cant beat the flight times!

Plus I am still wishy washy on my first set of dates... do I want to spend 2 days at WDW before our September Cruise or only 1..... I am feeling guilty about pulling the girls from school... but then again we are only talking 1st grade and pre K.

So I still need a couple of days to think about it. LOL

macraven, you and i have the same thought, with the entertainment book. i was sooo close to just booking UA, but I held out and let our 24 hour hold fall off. Hoping I'm not shooting myself in the foot, as that exact flight we wanted on UA is not available anymore, and the other ones are higher than if we would have booked a few weeks ago.

Taking a gamble w/ Southwest. Hope it pays off, I'm driving myself crazy with airfare obsession!

Would love to be included on the list for holding out for the dates. We're going 9/25-9/30.

I'm waiting for Southwest to open up Late October thru Early November! We plan on flying out October 29th and returning on November 5th from Phila to Orlando!!! I'm getting impatient as I already have the hotel booked and I just booked my MNSSHP tickets on April 30th with a PS at LTT for 5:30pm!!! I have evrything done except Airfare and that can be pretty annoying! Especially since we usually fly SPIRIT AIR out of ACY and their prices are astronomical right now! I can't believe it! they are close to $700 per person roundtrip and we have 5 people so there is no way we are paying that!

Well I got tired of waiting for Southwest! I changed my dates by a couple of Days and booked USA3000 for $59.00 each way!

I had read on flyer talk forums a formula for when SW releases dates. When I plugged in all the data, I got May 5, so i made sure to rush home during my lunch hour, and NADA! I'm betting it will be next week though.

We flew USA3000 to Mexico recently and had a great experience.
Where will you fly into Florida? We live in MD but fly out of Philly sometimes and maybe we will check into this.
