Thank you so much for your generosity and congratulations on such a fabulous opportunity. I am sure it will be a meal to remember!!


When my mom died a few years ago, we asked people to donate to GKTW instead of flowers, peole gave so generously and it was such a great feeling to know that others feel as strongly about it as we did/do.

My grandmother died this week, and my school decided to give even more money to GKTW. I was so touched that not only did they do that , but that they also remembered.

Cathy was out shopping when the auction closed, and she knew I was going to take another shot at the high bid since I had been knocked out earlier in the week. She was delighted to hear of our good fortune! We hope we can work the dinner into our upcoming trip plans.

We promise to post some details when the dinner is completed, we spent the better part of an hour this afternoon just discussing possible restaurants!

FYI - We just got back from attending an American Heart Association event tonight and the amount you won with was almost the same value as what someone gave for having a 1 hour voice lesson with Toni Braxton and what another donated to get some Lakers season tickets and also be a sports correspondent for the day.

I'd say you guys are pretty darn popular to rank with those bids!
