How nice to have your mom with you to babysit - and keep the girls in her room at night!!
Are you anywhere near Sand Lake? My cousin and her family live there and we visit often.
We've never stayed at Universal - this is the first time we've even spent a day there, but my son's friend and his family stayed there for 3 days last fall & loved it. i think they stayed at the hard Rock also.
Know what you mean about the rides - my sons love the coasters - the higher and wilder the better! They did NOT inherit that from me or my husband . I did go on the Rockin Rollercoaster the last time, and did enjoy it, but I think it was because it was in the dark and I was seated deep into the car. I hated space mountain - thought I was going to fall out for sure! My favorite ride is still Buzz Lightyear - isn't that pathetic!
I hope the lines aren't too long, but I'm afraid they will be. We get up early and get to the parks before they open. Then at noon we come back to the hotel to swim and relax, and then head out again in the late afternoon for the evening. I'm getting to old to be on the go all day!!LOL
The Beach Club was a splurge for us - but we've been saving for a year and a half. It's a sentimental visit - our last big family vacation before Greg goes off to college. I'm just not dealing too well with him being a Senior this year. Great to see them grow up and learn to be independent, but heartbreaking to think of the family dynamics changing! It doesn't seem like 18 years ago that we brought him home from the hospital!!
What time is your flight tomorrow? Ours is 6:20 AM - and I've got so much to do before then!
