We'll be there on a non DVC trip...! We are taking our kids to their favorite non dvc resort - Port Orleans Riverside for free dining!

Heading back for our 7th annual aug trip.

We will be at AKV-- Kinadi from Aug 2-12!!

Anyone going to Typhoon Lagoon during their August trip? We are thinking about bowing under pressure from our 13 year old daughter and taking her for a day.

Has anyone who is also doing a dining plan signed into the dining plan reservation system to get ready to make online dining ressies? I tried today & it asked for my confirmation #, all I had was a reservation # & it said it was invalid.

Wish they would post the fireworks & parade schedule for August.

We haven't tried to look at ADRs. We arrive on 8/14 and I think the 180-day ADR window opens on 2/15. Maybe it says it is an invalid # because your window's not open yet (that's the only reason I can think of other than the system being down).

Are you by chance going to Typhoon Lagoon again this year? Spouse nor I are water park people and I am sure Sarah would enjoy the experience more if she met other children in her age range. We will be with her but would prefer not to have to experience the slides.

I think we are, but currently we have it slated for 8/10. If our "schedule" changes it would be 8/16. Still waiting on the hours to be released...........

Now back to the topic at hand. Yay for August vacations. Hopefully it will be a "below average temps" for Florida.

Just booked the flights from PVD to MCO! One step closer to August...now just have to wait for the ADR window to open up next week .

We will be there for our 2nd DVC stay, first time at AKL Kidani (8/21 - 8/25) prior to our cruise on the DREAM.
