Who else has not gotten back out there yet?

So glad I'm not the only one taking it easy. I did my first half (actually first race ever) on Saturday. I ran the whole thing which was such an accomplishment for me as I had never ran before September. I really took it easy, finished in 3:00. I feel great but I'm not getting back to running until Saturday. I'll go back to spinning tomorrow but I plan on taking it easy and not push myself too hard.

No running for me! I did the half with a groin strain and my plan was to take some time off afterwards anyway to try and let it heal. On Monday I plan on starting to work out again, but no running for at least another week. I just signed up for an 8k in March so I will need to get back to it, but I'm not worried about it.

Good luck! I hope all goes well for you!! Keep us posted. What kind of injury did you have?

Thanks :goodvibes

Doc said it's probably just an overuse injury- I'm so blessed that it happened post-race than the week before. It's getting better by the day and I should be up and running hopefully next weekend! I'm looking at a mid-May race.. trying to decide if I should attempt to beat my half time or throw myself into a full.. decisions, decisions :confused3
