My 9 year old vomited this morning. We thought it was a one time thing- but had to take him out of the restaurant at lunch (he got really pale) and now he is just too quiet. With him Quiet=sick.

The tradition continues. As a child I was ill for most major holidays. What is wrong with us??? Don't answer that.

My 3 year old grandson has a dry cough and 101 temp. He is scheduled for surgery at 8:15 am on Tuesday.

That happend to me last yer, DD(2 then) got a stomach virus Christmas Eve - vomiting everywhere! It was awful!Christmas morning she was unwrpping gifts and pausing to lean over and vomit in the bucket in between... i felt so bad for her, esprcially as Christmas Eve is her birthday, so she got robbed christmas eve, AND christmas.
I hope your little one feels better soon!

Two years ago, one of the kids that was in my kids christmas pageant was sick but performed anyway (:confused3 ) Both my kids and nearly every other kid that was in the show was sick on christmas day with a vomiting/headache virus.

We are all sick. My husband and I went to Europe and caught a nasty cold/Sars/Bird Flu:rotfl2: on the plane and passed it on to everyone in our family. My son 13 is currently out cold and the rest of us are on our way.

I hope your little man is feeling better soon!

I'm so sorry you guys are sick!!! I hate being sick for holidays! Please take care, rest and get better!

We're all sick too, well except for DH and Ami who are healthy and perky - remind me to get them when I'm feeling better.

DS started it on Wednesday, vomiting, high fever, sore throat, headache, nasty cough. DD got the sniffles, fever, and sore throat. I have the fever, headache, dizzy spells, and sniffles.

It does beat last year when I started vomiting on Christmas eve an hour before dinner in a farm house in the middle of nowhere in France.

*************...that is EXACTLY what happened to my DD this year. She was standing at the Xmas concert beside this kid who was wiping his face with his hand and hacking all over the place. I just knew she was going to get sick. Well on Thursday she started with the scratchy throat, and on Friday it was a fever and all icky, started throwing up later that day. Yesterday she slept most of the day and today she is feeling much better, but is all 'gooby'. Poor kid. I went into her classroom on Friday to drop her present off to the teacher. The teacher said that half the class was ill. She literally had them divided into 2 sides of the room - the sick kids and the healthy kids and was pretty ticked that parents sent sick kids to school, especially 3 days before Xmas. My DD was so upset to miss the school party and gift exchange. I felt so badly for her. I am hoping she is 99% tomorrow, and she probably will be when she opens her present, which is a cruise, trip to Disneyland and High School Musical Concert tickets!!!!
Here is prayers that all the other sick kiddies feel better!

Currently I'm the only one not sick. It's like a shadow of sickness hanging over me. ;) If I make it past Christmas day I'll be soooo relieved. One son has a horrible cough which makes him vomit. The other son is dripping gunk out of his nose. My husband is coughing horribly (which didn't stop him from going to a football game though). My neighbor mentioned this morning - weren't you all sick last year too? Yep, 'tis the season!! :santa:

My dd came down with pink eye in both eyes on Wednesday. Thank God it cleared up in time for Christmas. I hope your son feels better.pixiedust:

My dd was puking this morning. She puked at church, and then again in the Starbucks drive thru. She's otherwise felt ok, just that her tummy hurt a little bit. I hope she feels better tomorrow, and that it's not a bug that will go through the rest of the house starting tomorrow morning.

My son is sick and so am I. For my son sick equals quiet as well, so you know something is wrong.

Oldest daughter has been sick for 2 weeks and I have a rotten cold.

My dd 6 woke up and ran into our bedroom, she said "Santa came!!". She then ran to the bathroom and got sick. The poor thing has been throwing up most of the day. We cancelled everyone coming over and just watched tv all day.

We told her that we will do a Christmas part 2 on New Years' Day and everyone who couldn't come today will come then.

Merry Christmas everyone.
