Who else had success calling for NYE today?

I called at 9AM today for New Year's Eve. I'm waitlisted for a 1-bedroom, any view, at BWV for the night, but called today to check in to BCV for the night. To my surprise, there was a 1-BR at BCV for NYE, so I quickly booked it. I'm still waitlisted for BWV, but at least I'm booked. Woohoo! Who else was able to get through for NYE today?

Im curious to see the results on this topic. Even though Im not planning on switching from SSR as my dh loves it there.

I start calling tomorrow for January 1 which will be our first night after switching from the Polynesian. I am really hoping for Beach Club, but not getting too excited, I would be happy at the Boardwalk as well! I am really nervous to call tomorrow!

Thanks for posting, Debi. I called this am before I saw your post and was told the only thing available was SSR. After I saw your thread a little later this am, I called back and was able to get a 1BR at VWL.

We are waitlisted for a 2BR at BCV and would have been happy with any room at BCV as we're there the rest of that week. But at least we have a room for NYE.

Congratulations to all of you. Someday I'd like to be at WDW on NYE, but DH rather go in early December and then for MLKjr weekend, someday when we're retired, maybe we can just stay for the whole month, say the 15th to the 15th!

Well, you probably got my BCV unit if it was a 1 bedroom. I switched from BCV to VWL at 9 am EST this morning. Didn't have to wait list. Yay!!! So far I've gotten 6 nights switched over. Now, I have 2 more nights left.

OurDogCisco, I bet I did get your unit (I did book a 1 bedroom). I called and asked about BCV, told nothing was available, and and asked the CM to check on my waitlist at BWV. As she was checking, she said 'wait - something just opened at BCV. Do you want a 1-bedroom?' I jumped at it!

I'm still waitlisted for a 1-BR at BWV, and I'm hoping that it'll eventually come through. I'm not excited about having to change rooms for the last night, but I'm also excited about trying BCV once!

I got Jan. 1 in a one bedroom at BCV today and I will call Monday for the 2, 3, and 4th. They were available as of this morning, so hopefully if I call at 9 I'll be okay. I am so excited and happy!!!
