Who Else Does THIS???

I used to do this not for disney but for our beach vacations i would start about a month or more ahead to get used to walking. However a few years ago i decided to start in May (it was on Mothers Day) as i was a bit overweight at the time. By August i had lost 15 pounds. I did power walking about 5 days per week for 45 to 1 hour each time. I have continued to do this not just before vacations but year round to help keep me fit and have lost even more weight. This year i got to my pre-baby weight (finally after so many years i got to the weight i was before my 3 kids!!!!). This is something i recommend doing year round because it really does trim your tummy and keep you fit.

Isn't it great? I love going for nice long walks.I look at it as ME TIME.

My whole family gets into the daily walking. We call it our Disney training. In fact, my 8 yr. old found out that our neighbors are going to WDW in Nov for the first time and she asked them why weren't they out doing their Disney training. It's a fun way to get our whole family excited about our trip. While we walk, we talk about what we hope to see and do while on vacation.:yay:

I wish I enjoyed exercising more. I do it for a while and then dread it. I have weight to lose too so I should be doing it more.

This is great, although I can not say Disney was the main not the reason I started to work out, it was motivation. I work out about 4 days a week, morning ALWAYS start out with ab work out, off to work then weights and cardio after work, then pull ups, push ups and ab before bed. I lost 50 pounds since Feb. I went from over weight to LEAN :woohoo:, I might just hit the water parks next year with my new body :woohoo:
