Do you forget to check to see if you have private messages? I do all the time. Let me apologize in advance, I'm sorry. For whatever reason I never think to check them. But I am getting better.

You might set the notifier, either email or popup, to let you know. I have mine off, but do check regularly.

Yes, because I rarely get PM's.
I didn't realize the PM notification feature wasn't working. It always says I have no new PM's, but this morning I PM'd someone and when it took me back to my PM's I noticed I had a new one, from the end of February!! Never knew it was there!! So, guess I should check more often.

I check for pm's before I do anything else on the boards.

I get a notification, but usually check anyway.

I only check when the little pop up thing tells me I have one.

I get e-mail notification and the pop-up thing, so I never forget.

I check before I hit the boards (usually just the CB!)

When I come to www.disboards.com it says 'Welcome back, Gaspode' in the top left and under that is a link reading 'Private Messages'. Clicking on that jumps you to the bottom of the screen and tells you how many new ones you have etc. You then click the back button to jump back to the top of the screen and choose your board, or just scroll on back up!
